- ACAlex ChangMar 9, 20261.0I had stopped by the store to place a delivery order for some retaining wall bricks and a few dozen bags of mulch. I asked the associate for a Saturday delivery, and he confirmed. Fast forward to that following Friday, at 7:30AM I get a knock on my door and the delivery truck was there with the forklift halfway up my driveway. The night prior, I got text messages saying that my order was out for delivery on Fri 2/20, and I tried to change the order but could not. The delivery driver was unapologetic about delivering that early (the text messages had suggested that the delivery would be after 12PM that day) and I had no choice but to accept it. When I went to the store, the assistant manager basically said there was nothing they can do other than "communicate with our 3rd party delivery vendor" because once the order was picked up, they could not do anything to fix it. I've bought many many things for delivery from Home Depot before, and they've never made an error and use their own branded truck. Safe to say this is the first and LAST time I will use Lowes for delivery, as their 3rd party delivery service is unreliable and unprofessional.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
