I had stopped by the store to place a delivery order for some retaining wall bricks and a few dozen bags of mulch. I asked the associate for a Saturday delivery, and he confirmed.
Fast forward to that following Friday, at 7:30AM I get a knock on my door and the delivery truck was there with the forklift halfway up my driveway. The night prior, I got text messages saying that my order was out for delivery on Fri 2/20, and I tried to change the order but could not.
The delivery driver was unapologetic about delivering that early (the text messages had suggested that the delivery would be after 12PM that day) and I had no choice but to accept it. When I went to the store, the assistant manager basically said there was nothing they can do other than "communicate with our 3rd party delivery vendor" because once the order was picked up, they could not do anything to fix it.
I've bought many many things for delivery from Home Depot before, and they've never made an error and use their own branded truck. Safe to say this is the first and LAST time I will use Lowes for delivery, as their 3rd party delivery service is unreliable and unprofessional.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent in-store experience with a store manager named Nick.
During my visit, I requested a price match for a brand-new DeWalt circular saw that was being sold for $144 by the official DeWalt Store on Amazon. The item was new, in stock, and sold directly by DeWalt, which I understand to be a qualified retailer under Lowe’s price match policy.
Manager Nick refused to honor the price match. When I asked for the reason, his response was that matching the price would mean he “would not make any profit,” which I found to be an inappropriate and unprofessional explanation. Personal profit considerations should not be used as a reason to deny a customer request that appears to fall within company policy.
I was not treated with professionalism, nor was Lowe’s price match policy clearly or respectfully explained. This interaction left me disappointed, as I expect managers to represent Lowe’s policies accurately and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
I am requesting that this situation be reviewed and that I receive clarification regarding Lowe’s official price match policy when the item is sold new by a manufacturer’s official store on Amazon. I would also appreciate appropriate follow-up regarding the conduct of the manager involved.
