This was my first time ever coming to a Lowe’s store. I went to purchase the mini buckets for a party and only needed 10. I was told I could not purchase more than 5. Which is ridiculous. I had to purchase 5 then go back to my car put them away and then go back into the store to get the other 5. When I checked out there was a woman employee there saw me purchase and leave. When I came back to get the other five the guy at the paint department asked to see my receipt. Ummm why? I didn’t have any merchandise on me. He made me show him my back account to prove I hade made a purchase. The receipt was in the car and I didn’t know I needed a receipt from an entire separate transaction. He then made a comment how when I can’t find them I’ll remember why he was that way. How ridiculous of him to think I would want to buy many buckets. I had no idea this was an issue to want to purchase merchandise from a store. Isn’t that the point? This was honestly horrible and I will never return to Lowe’s.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service at the Burbank Lowe's.
I placed an online order early this morning expecting it to be ready for pickup. When I arrived later in the day, my order still was not prepared. I went to the customer service desk and found employees standing around laughing and chatting with each other while customers were waiting for assistance. When I asked about my order, I was simply told I would have to wait another 20 minutes or go pick the items myself. If customers are expected to shop for and gather their own items, then what is the purpose of ordering online for pickup?
The frustration didn't end there. I also needed to pick up electrical wire that was locked behind a secured gate. I waited over 15 minutes for someone to come unlock it. No one showed up. An employee told me to enter my phone number so I would receive a text notification when assistance arrived. I followed the instructions, but I never received any text message and nobody came to help. As a result, I was unable to purchase the cable I needed.
This entire visit was a complete waste of my time. The lack of urgency, poor communication, and apparent indifference toward customers was unbelievable. Employees seemed more interested in socializing than helping customers. Management needs to take a serious look at what is happening in this store because this level of customer service is unacceptable.
I expect much better from a major retailer like Lowe's. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a long time.

Thursday May 14th, ordered for CURBSIDE a 50 POUND bag of sand. When I arrived around 7pm and parked in the designated spot, I could not check in via the received email or through the website. I installed the app and it would not even find the order. A helpful Lowe's employee told me I had to go inside, even though I ordered curbside. Fine.
Went inside. The single bored individual at the returns section did not see me standing there wondering where to go. When I finally inquired, he sheepishly told me to follow the blue footsteps to the pickup area.
At the pickup area was perhaps the least helpful employee I've ever encountered at a home improvement store. She had me punch in my phone number, pulled up my order, and pointed on the ground in the holding area my bag just sitting there. She asked me if I had a cart, and I told her this was supposed to be curbside. She said the guy who did it (A guy? 1 guy??) was busy and I had to wait. The woman had no interest helping me at all in any capacity. She just looked at me through her 2 inch long fake eyelashes whilr she tapped away unlrofessionally on her phone with her extra long fake nails. Nothing says home improvement like stick on nails.
The guy never showed and I was forced to serve myself. A terrible experience and one that will prevent me from using their service again.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
