It takes about 3 minutes to make one key but it is more costly than the improvement stores, about $8 vs $2 at home Depot. If you press cancel it offers you 25% off so after tax it's about $6.50. They have a buy 2 get 1 free but not sure if it applies with discount. They offer you another 50% off a second key after you make 1. It was convenient so I bought one and it works perfectly. You can also store the key in the system if you ever get locked out, nice for peace of mind. When I called to inquire on prices the guy wouldn't tell me so maybe it's different prices per area.
