On the phone, I was told that the process would be 1) the locksmith comes to the door, which costs 29$, 2) the locksmith looks at the locked door and evaluates how much work/how difficult it would be to open the door, at which point he can give you a price of anywhere between 80$ and 150$, and 3) if you agree on this price, the locksmith opens the door. The truth, however, is that during the evaluation process (step 2) the locksmith took less than 3 minute to open the door *without* giving a price. Then, he takes advantage of the fact that the door was already open to charge 150$.
