  Excellent service. Seemed like a happy group of employees, and best price in town when I was shopping major appliances so I spent my money there.

  On Sunday the 21 of June , I came to your Vernon B.C store to purchase a drain power auger I asked at the help desk if you sold this piece of equipment , the young man stated he did not know and asked a senior employee if your store sold drain augers. This lady asked me what it was, So I told them it was a "snake" to clean out sewer drains. With out looking for the item in your computer she stated that your store does not carry this item and recommended a nursery down the road from your store. ( which made me shake my head, as I could not understand why a nursery would sell drain cleaning equipment) I left your store and went to "Home Depot" where they looked this item up in their computer but did not have the one that I needed so I ordered one in to the tune of over 800 hundred dollars . As a customer I would recommend having your employees at the very least look up in your computer, to see if indeed you sold such items and if not on hand be able to order one in . This is the second time this store has failed to help or up-sale to me the first was a electric lawnmower, that was an inconvenience to gather down from the shelf as the scaffolding would not fit in the aisle and stated that i would have to wait until they could rearrange the display and they would then get to the item it should take a couple of days for this to happen . Once again I walked away and went to "Home Depot" and purchased my mower there ... RONA get a big "TSK TSK " and has lost a future customer. at least i get better treatment from your competitors

  I was in getting soil at the garden centre. I kept smelling cigarette smoke. I realized when I stepped in the fenced area there was a lady sitting on her walker right beside the open door. This was about 4:00 pm. The Rona employee was chatting away to the smoking lady. I have not seen this at another store or nursery. I have breathing problems as it is. I’m certain there is a certain distant between someone smoking and an entrance. Absolutely no regard by the lady to the other customers including children. The staff at the very least should have got the lady to quit smoking in the nursery section. The women had the entire parking lot to smoke in. We left and went to buy soil and flowers elsewhere.

  They don't close at 6:00, they close before 5:45. Stopped by at 5:45 to grab a plant from the garden center that was in stock according to there website. Garden center was locked up and woman at the til was rude plain and simple. Do not recommend.
