If -10 Stars Were Available, That’s What I Would Give The Brick
Our experience with The Brick and its extended warranty service has been completely unacceptable.
We purchased furniture from The Brick around four years ago and paid extra for an extended warranty because we were told it would provide protection if something went wrong with the furniture. Naturally, when you pay additional money for warranty coverage, you expect the company to stand behind what was sold to you.
Unfortunately, our experience has been the complete opposite.
We started contacting The Brick about our furniture issue in May 2025. We visited the store, submitted requests online, followed up repeatedly, and tried to get the warranty service we had paid for. Instead of receiving timely help, we experienced delays and frustration for more than a year.
Finally, in June 2026, a technician came to inspect the furniture. After all that waiting, we were told that the furniture was “overused” and therefore the warranty would not cover it.
Seriously?
Furniture is purchased to be used. If normal household use can later be described as “overuse” when a customer makes a warranty claim, customers deserve to know exactly what that means before they are asked to pay extra for the warranty.
What makes this situation worse is not only the denial. It is the entire experience: selling the warranty, taking the customer's money, the long delay in providing service, repeated follow-ups, and then eventually relying on an exclusion to reject the claim.
In my opinion, this raises serious questions about the real value of the extended warranty being sold.
Before buying furniture or an extended warranty from The Brick, I strongly suggest customers ask:
What exactly is covered?
What exactly is excluded?
What does “overuse” mean?
How much use is considered too much?
How long will they take to inspect a claim?
And under exactly what circumstances will they actually replace damaged furniture?
Get the answers in writing, because verbal explanations at the time of sale may not be what you experience later when you actually need the warranty.
After dealing with this since May 2025, I am extremely disappointed with how The Brick handled our situation.
I would give this experience -10 stars if Google allowed it.
Customers do not just remember the furniture they purchased. They remember how a company treats them after it already has their money.

Extremely Disappointing Warranty Experience With The Brick
This has been one of the most frustrating customer service and warranty experiences I have ever had.
We purchased furniture from The Brick approximately four years ago and were also sold an extended warranty. At the time of purchase, we understood that the warranty was intended to provide repair coverage if the furniture became damaged and, where covered damage could not be repaired, replacement would be considered according to the warranty terms.
Since May 2025, we have repeatedly contacted The Brick, visited the store, and submitted warranty/service requests online, trying to have the issue addressed. Despite our repeated efforts, the matter remained unresolved for a very long time.
It was not until June 2026, more than a year after we started pursuing the issue, that a technician finally attended. We were then told that the furniture was considered “overused” and therefore would not be covered.
This response is extremely concerning to us. A customer purchases an extended warranty because they expect meaningful protection during the warranty period. After paying extra for that protection, repeatedly following up for more than a year, and then being denied because the furniture was allegedly “overused,” we feel seriously misled about the value and protection this warranty actually provided.
My concern is not simply that our claim was denied. It is the entire process: the lengthy delay, repeated attempts to obtain service, and the eventual reason provided for refusing coverage.
Before purchasing an extended warranty from The Brick, I strongly recommend that customers:
* Read every exclusion and limitation in the warranty.
* Ask specifically what The Brick considers “normal use,” “wear and tear,” and “overuse.”
* Get important warranty representations in writing.
* Keep copies of receipts, warranty documents, service requests, emails, photographs, and dates of every contact.
* Do not assume that purchasing an extended warranty automatically means damaged furniture will be repaired or replaced.
Based on our experience, I am extremely dissatisfied with both the warranty service and the way this matter has been handled. I expect The Brick to provide a clear written explanation identifying the exact warranty provision they are relying on to deny our claim, particularly after we spent more than a year attempting to obtain service.
Customers deserve clear warranty terms, reasonable response times, and transparent decisions before being asked to pay extra for extended protection.
If I could give -10 stars, I would, but unfortunately that option is not available.
This has been an absolutely terrible experience with The Brick. After paying extra for an extended warranty and spending more than a year trying to get our furniture issue addressed, the service and warranty process have been extremely disappointing.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend The Brick or their extended warranty. Before buying anything here, especially an extended warranty, read every condition carefully and get all promises in writing.
For me, this experience deserves -10/5 stars.

Very disappointing experience with The Brick and manager Satpal.
I bought a refrigerator from The Brick at Surrey Central Mall in March, and unfortunately, I have had problems with it from the very beginning. When the refrigerator was delivered, the door was already damaged and there was an issue with it. Instead of properly resolving the problem, the situation was handled poorly, and I have continued to experience problems with this refrigerator.
Now the refrigerator has completely stopped working. It is not cooling properly, and the freezer is also not working.
I contacted the store and spoke with the manager, Satpal, hoping that he would help resolve the situation. I explained that the refrigerator had problems from the day it was delivered and that I no longer wanted this product. I asked for a refund because I have lost confidence in this brand and wanted to purchase a different refrigerator.
Unfortunately, I found his attitude extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of listening to my concerns and trying to find a reasonable solution, I was told that they could not refund my money and that they would only send a technician to repair the refrigerator. I clearly explained that I did not want another repair because I had already experienced problems with this appliance from the beginning.
When I said that I would escalate my complaint if my concerns were not addressed, his response was essentially, “Go ahead, you are free to go wherever you want.” I found this response very disrespectful and unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position.
I understand that appliances can sometimes have problems, but what matters is how a company and its management treat customers when something goes wrong. In my experience, the way this situation was handled was very disappointing.
I no longer trust this brand and will think twice before purchasing another appliance from The Brick. I hope the company reviews how this complaint was handled and takes customer service concerns seriously.

I’ve been dealing with Harinder at Brick since 2018, and I can honestly say that he has always been great to work with. Over the years, I’ve had many chances to deal with him, and every time he has been helpful, respectful, and easy to talk to.
What I like most about Harinder is that he actually takes the time to listen. He doesn’t make you feel rushed, and he always tries his best to understand what you need. He is patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable about what he does. Whenever I’ve had questions or needed help, he has always been there to guide me and make things easier.
It’s not easy to find someone you can trust and keep dealing with for so many years, but Harinder has always treated me well. Since 2018, I’ve had nothing but good experiences with him. He is someone who cares about his customers and makes sure they are looked after.
I really appreciate all the help and service he has given me over the years. His customer service is one of the main reasons I’m happy to keep coming back. If you’re looking for someone who is honest, helpful, patient, and easy to deal with, I would definitely recommend Harinder.
Thank you, Harinder, for all your help. I truly appreciate it and look forward to dealing with you for many more years.
