  The store had everything any household would ever need, it was clean and bright inside which made shopping easy. The delivery went well and the fellows were polite and friendly, they had things set up quickly and cleaned up the packing materials. All in all a nice experience dealing with Leon’s.

  The chair was as listed. It’s good and sturdy for the sale price. The delivery folks were great but I feel we need a system where they’re not paid by the delivery. It’s not fair to have them rush around doing so many deliveries a day in a time frame. So I’m advocating for a different system, hourly fair wage so these poor young people aren’t wrecking their backs. Lovely delivery! Let’s pay a working fair wage & reasonable job conditions!

  Love the couch! The one Delivery driver was FANTASTIC! And the 2nd was complaining because he had to walk up stairs with the couch. He was complaining that he was going to get back problems because the other guy was nice enough to stand his ground and take the couch up to the 3rd floor because we couldn’t get it in the elevator then the elevator broke. 😅 loved the one guy for going above and beyond! Only 4 ⭐️ because of the one guy who wouldn’t stop complaining.. sadly I never got their names.

  Sales person is good, nice, patient and helpful but didn’t follow up after sales and delivery. The Richmond office staff called and arranged the delivery time. The delivery time is a long wait at home for more than 4 hours, it took me half day to stay home. The assembly process was fast but left some garbage residual like tape, box paper & foam in my front yard door entrance didn’t complete clean up, maybe they are rush to leave, so I have to do it myself, not a completely satisfied delivery’s service. I bought the recliner and happy with the product, it is a comfortable chair and price is good. I will buy again and recommend friends.

  I purchased a Feeling Connected Connex modular sectional from Leon’s and paid for delivery. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. During the original delivery, one of the delivery workers dropped the chaise directly in front of my front steps. When I inspected it afterward, I found that one of the feet had been pushed up into the frame, damaging the wood and surrounding structure. The chaise would no longer sit level and, in my opinion, was not reasonably usable in that condition. Leon's initially offered me $200 to keep the damaged chaise. I declined because this was a brand-new sectional that cost a couple thousand dollars, and I felt it was reasonable to expect an undamaged piece. I requested a replacement instead. A replacement chaise was delivered approximately a week later. Unfortunately, when I inspected it, I found essentially the exact same damage in the exact same location: the foot had again been pushed up into the frame and the wood around the mounting point had been compromised. At this point, we had already had to make ourselves available for two separate three-hour delivery windows, and I wasn't interested in arranging a third one only to potentially receive another damaged chaise. Given that two separate units arrived with virtually identical structural damage, I am concerned there may be a broader issue with the construction, packaging, or transportation of these pieces rather than this simply being an isolated incident. This time, I told Leon's I was willing to keep the damaged chaise and repair/reinforce it myself in exchange for the same $200 compensation they had originally offered. To my surprise, they refused and offered only $100. I even proposed $150 as a reasonable compromise, but they would not agree to that either. What bothers me most is that after receiving two damaged pieces and spending my time accommodating two delivery appointments, Leon's ultimately offered me less compensation than they had offered after the first damaged delivery. I was willing to take responsibility for repairing a brand-new piece of furniture myself simply to avoid wasting more time, yet I still ended up bearing part of the inconvenience and cost of resolving a problem I did not cause. When I spend a couple thousand dollars on new furniture and also pay for delivery, I expect that any damage occurring before or during delivery will be resolved at the retailer's expense—not effectively passed back to the customer. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of Leon's, and I will not be shopping there again.
