The worst customer service and online order experience I’ve ever had. Hands down. As others have said - this store is purely aggravating. Ordered a bbq on Saturday for my husbands birthday on Tuesday with the preface of “pick up tomorrow by 10 am!”. When I ordered it showed 4 items in stock. Perfect. I wait until his birthday on Tuesday and we come by to pick it up. I give the cashier our order number. She goes “oh it looks like they still haven’t found this.” I’m sorry? Found it? She calls the manager. The manager says “we have 3 in the system. 1 is available and 2 have been paid for. Maybe one is yours, maybe not.” My husband says “yes obviously one of those is ours. We’ve fully paid for our order.” “Maybe. I’ll try to find it.” We wait 15 min and he comes back and says “nope can’t find it sorry. It’s in stock but I don’t know where it is. You can look if you like.” Which turns into my husband and I, ON HIS BIRTHDAY, looking around the store at the top of their shelves for 30 minutes trying to locate the bbq that I paid for 4 days ago and should have picked up already. Cool cool cool. Let me tell you - there are bbqs in the fridge area, there are bbqs in the tile section, there are bbqs in the lumber yard, there are bbqs with the nails, bbqs with the sinks. I saw the same 30” blacktop grill in 5 different places. Because why store things together when you can just scatter them across the store for an adult scavenger hunt? When I say I feel terrible for the people who work here and have to pick orders… The floor worker who was helping us (Rob?) on our scavenger hunt was the only helpful person in this entire store. Poor Rob was also frustrated since the online store shows the aisle these bbqs are in stock in - and those aisles don’t exist. Payam, the department manager, immediately stopped helping and coming up with solutions once he successfully made this my problem to solve. Rob helped us look for nearly 40 minutes, and then offered us the floor model. Payam agreed to us just taking the floor model but this also felt wrong to me. So let’s get this straight - I paid for the brand new bbq, in box - you made it my problem to locate it because the store is this poorly organized, and now since no one can find it I should pay the same price for the floor model which I will have to now roll home - on my husbands birthday. The insane level of frustration I felt at this point. We go to the front and I explain that I’ve now spent nearly an hour of my husbands birthday on a scavenger hunt for the bbq the store happily took my money for. He suggests we go to another store and calls them. They say we can go there but I have to buy the bbq again. This is then suggested to me but also..I bought the bbq on sale and the sale is no longer on. I’m told they’ll honour it but at this point I have zero faith in either of these stores and cannot believe this is how I’m spending my husbands birthday. In the end I’m told it’ll be delivered to us tomorrow for free. We ask “if you can’t find it then how can you guarantee it’ll be delivered to us tomorrow?” And we are told “because the manager will be here.” He says we will get it tomorrow and then lectures me on how I need to stop focusing on the mistakes and look for a positive solution. He also tells me how I shouldn’t have come to the store until they said it was ready and tells me I received a second email that it was delayed - which I absolutely did not receive. He argues with me that I definitely did and obviously it went to spam (it didn’t - no subsequent email was sent.). Also we will give you a $25 gift card…$0.50 a minute for my wasted time is insulting. In the end my husband agrees to this being delivered tomorrow, gives his phone number and our address. And as we walk out Payam calls out “I’ll look into this and try and see what we can do for you tomorrow” seconds after promising this would be delivered the next day. As it stands - Rona has my money, has lost the BBQ and wasted my husbands birthday. But Eryn - you need to be positive.

The store is nicely laid out and kept. The parking is good. The location is convenient - just past Park & Tilford Gardens / Save-on-Foods on Main. They are very difficult to reach by phone, however. Both the paint department and customer service just ring and ring and ring on a Monday morning. This is not a new experience, unfortunately. They need more staff.

Incorrect hours. It said it was open, we drove there and it was closed for more than an hour.
