Very disappointed with my experience at The Brick.
I purchased a sofa and a rug for about $1,300. The salesperson name is Adam, promised a free coffee table, but the table came completely unassembled. The quality is very poor, and it took a lot of time and effort to put it together.
I also clearly requested that all of my items be delivered on the same day. However, The Brick delivered only the rug and coffee table first, while the sofa was delayed. This caused a lot of inconvenience and wasted my time.
Overall, the customer service, delivery coordination, and product quality did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend The Brick based on my experience.

I wish The Brick would stop doing commission sales. I went with my fiancé to look for a couch, and right as we went in, we had this sales person (Samira) stalk us the whole time. Being there to “help” us, but really not letting us comfortably browse. At one point we had to ask her to give us a few minutes and I would look for her when we’re ready to shop. She still stood like 5 meters away, following us around the store.
Then when we’re ready to maybe make a purchase, there was a huge language barrier, as her English wasn’t very good… Look, I welcome all immigrants. I’m one myself. But if I’m looking for a $3K purchase whose delivery cannot go wrong given the size of the object, I would like my questions clearly answered. Plus she kept saying the same thing about all the couches: “this is the best and latest. Very good quality”… Like, all of them are the best and latest?
Then we put a down payment for the couch while we decide if we’ll keep it, and the few times she called us to follow up, she mentioned she’s on commission.
I’m sorry lady. I can appreciate that you’re chasing a commission, but I’m not going to commit to a large purchase I might not need in the end, just because you could lose that commission.
It felt like we went into the store like prey for the sales reps to claim as their bounty. THIS ONE IS MINE!!
Next time I’ll just shop online, or in a different store.

My dealings with The Brick was fantastic. From my salesperson Amir, who spent time helping me find the perfect mattress and the best price, to the delivery service people being so courteous and on time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you.

Bit of a late review but the quality of the couch has prompted the review to be done now. I bought my couch 3 years ago and it’s already broken. I didn’t know couches only had a 3 year life span? I have never heard of anyone in my life needing to purchase a new couch again after only 3 years. Extremely disappointing. Not to mention the fabric looks like garbage on the cushions you sit on. The fabric was disappointing alone but I could’ve bought a cover. During my buying experience it was decent although pressured. Then when it came to delivery they had a specific time frame in which it needed to be out of their warehouse. I needed to take a day off work to meet the date they “needed” out of their warehouse. Then the day came and they simply didn’t load it onto the truck. And brought it another day. Although I did really like my couch, it is very comfortable. The quality just isn’t there.

I purchased a large amount of furniture from The Brick last month through Amir, and the delivery arrived at the end of May. I unpacked the items one by one over the next few days, andI discovered that two of the table lamps were both missing the shade support/holder pieces.
I emailed the store and also called them. I even explained that these parts are not expensive, Home Depot sells similar ones for around $10 each, and I was told they would call me back the same day to resolve it.
However, after that, they simply disappeared and stopped responding. No follow-up, no solution, nothing.
Very disappointing customer service. I would not recommend this location. Not reliable.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online. Our Premium Delivery Service is available in most areas. For areas not served by The Brick's delivery team, we contract third-party courier and shipping companies.
