  Hurry down! While the weather is good! I picked up some perrinials for great prices! Their gift shop is amazing and plants are healthy! I go to the Auburn location where they hv fresh popcorn, great music and wonderful staff!

  Since the 1950's, when Villager was just a florist shop in Truckee, Eisley's would deliver astounding Poinsettias to us. I, personally, started buying Poinsettias from Eisley's in 1984 and have, every year since. I place my order in January for November delivery. Matsuda/GreenAcre bought the family business a couple of years ago but they're still growing some Point's. They did quit growing 10". This year they lost our order...Too late to order elsewhere but able to find numbers close to what I needed. Then, they told me they don't deliver to Truckee anymore. No U-Haul in Truckee, I rented a giant Jeep Wagoneer, put down the seats, & went back and forth to Auburn twice (all day). Beautiful, challenging to grow, in cool, mossy, terra cotta pots. They still do a great job but they've added to the challenges of keeping our small nursery afloat...

  Best place to get your Christmas tree! The People Are Awesome the price is reasonable and the tree is absolutely gorgeous

  Some signage indicating areas off-limits to the public would be helpful, instead of making it look like a huge open space anyone can walk through. I was walking through the nursery to get to the main road on a rainy day since the main incline is too slippery. I apologized for walking through, but an older male employee with silver hair and a mustache, who was with a younger gentleman, gave me a snarky look and thubbed his nose at me—for no reason. He claimed it was “policy” not to walk through, but this felt completely made-up. His attitude made me feel shamed, even though GPS literally led me this way—if it were truly private property, wouldn’t that be impossible? I was just trying to pick my daughter up from school around the corner, and the nursery is clearly open until 5 PM, so I wasn’t trespassing. I felt singled out and treated unfairly—this is discrimination. Kindness is free, and a little courtesy would have gone a long way here.
