I would like to share my concerns about a particular employee at the Apple Valley Lowe’s, Larissa, the woman who works at customer service. With every interaction I have regrettably had with her, she has been rude, dismissive, and left me waiting far longer than is reasonable, over 10–20 minutes at times just to process a return or to check on an online order. I have had better customer service going to the DMV to renew my driver’s license.
More so than her indignant attitude, what makes me the most uncomfortable are the unprofessional conversations she loudly and freely has in front of customers without a care in the world. On more than one occasion, she has used highly inappropriate language while I was present with my family members. I thought that Lowe’s was a family-friendly environment. It’s shocking to see that they just hire anyone these days.
She has also made countless negative and discriminatory remarks about her own coworkers, which was very unsettling. For Larissa to come across as this unprofessional in front of customers, I can only imagine what an utter displeasure she must be to work with. Between the delays in customer service, the lewd and crass behavior, and the hostile atmosphere she creates, I can no longer in good conscience shop at Lowe’s and will be switching to Home Depot instead.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
