    Do not order your materials from Rona if you have any sort of timeline in mind to complete your project. I ordered baseboards online on June 14th as they heavily advertised next day delivery, and we do not have a truck to be able to easily pick up from the store, so we need them delivered. I contacted customer service for the first time on June 16th asking for an update as I hadn’t even received notice of shipment when there was supposed to be next day delivery. Customer service told me they would be shipping June 19th. June 19th then came and passed and my order had still not shipped, so I contacted customer service a second time and was told they have no updates and they couldn’t give me any estimate on when my order would ship. June 25th I received an email stating my order had shipped with a Purolator tracking number. Upon checking the tracking number with Purolator it shows a shipping label was created for a shipment leaving Laval, QC but that it is still awaiting courier pick up. I emailed customer service a 3rd time on July 6th when my order status still had not been updated since June 25th. Then I called on July 8th since I had not received a response or update yet, and was told an email had been sent to the vendor, but the agent I was speaking with could not access the emails to give me any estimate or update and they can’t issue a refund since the order shows as shipped in their system. This is even though the Purolator tracking and the Rona order status both show the order has never been picked up by the courier and all that has happened for “shipping” is someone electronically generated a Purolator shipping label. We’re now July 9th and the parcel still shows as not even having been passed to Purolator for transport yet, there has only been a shipping label created. I’ve not received any helpful information after contacting customer service 4 separate times. I still have no idea how many more weeks I’ll have to wait for these baseboards after waiting almost a month already just to have them shipped.

    Rona- Canadian owned! I get a lot of my supplies for renovating my 50 yr old home. Batteries for my weed Wacker to cleaning supplies to plants/trees/ flowers plus seeds. And all your building supplies as well as appliances

    We purchased a shed from Rona and paid for one of their contractors to build it. When the contractors came, they let us know that there was not enough material included to build it according to the manufacturer's instructions. We called Rona and manager Gary and rep Chris told the contractors and us to build it a different way that would not provide enough support to the floor in the middle. My husband had to make 2 trips to buy the required materials to build it according to the manufacturer's instructions and paid out of pocket. Rona would not budge even after talking with the contractors who clearly stated the floor would not last if built the Rona way. Shingles were not included so we purchased them from Rona. The roofer who we hired privately came this morning and Rona gave us all Ridge caps and no actual shingles so could not complete the job. This whole experience has been extremely frustrating with no help from Rona. I want to add the contractors were amazing and did an excellent job. Very disappointed in the lack of customer support from such a big company, especially when spending 5,000 for the shed and the cost to build.

    Had to go get stuff picked out in the lumber yard today. Had to go there a couple of times in the last couple of month, every time I've gone there it's always been friendly staff that's eager to help. They need a raise!
