Josh, the way you handled the situation was extremely disappointing.
U think you were right? Well guess what everyone standing there did not think so.
As a manager, your responsibility should have been to professionally address concerns and help resolve the issue. Instead, your comments and attitude escalated the situation.
Referring to a customer as a “disgusting human” is completely inappropriate and unprofessional, regardless of the circumstances.
This is unacceptable.

A manager represents the business and should be able to communicate respectfully, even during difficult interactions. But you clearly r not capable in doing so.
Rather than focusing on a solution, you made the situation worse and left a very negative impression. Professionalism, respect, and customer service should be expected from management, and unfortunately those standards were not shown in this interaction.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers are not treated in a way he treated those 2 customers.
I know that I won’t be going back there.

Josh, this was completely unprofessional.
No matter how frustrated, unhappy, or overwhelmed you may be, it is never acceptable to call your customers “disgusting.” Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and someone in a customer-facing role should understand that basic expectation.
Your comments were immature, disrespectful, and reflected very poorly on both you and the company you represent. As an adult and a professional, you should be capable of handling difficult situations without resorting to insults or inappropriate remarks.
If this is how you speak about customers, you should seriously reconsider whether you are suited for a position that requires professionalism, patience, and customer service skills.

This for Josh. He is Assistant store manager. He called his customers disgusting as we were trying to get price match with RONA's website. The attitude that he has shows, he has no manger qualities. A customer visits the store after checking website. If something is not available in the store, it should either says sold out, not available or should not be even on the website. If it shows on your website, then the customer deserves that price. And its not your competitors website, IT IS RONA WEBSITE. We compared the prices at RONA and HOME DEPOT website.
So instead addressing your customer as disgusting, FIX YOUR WEBSITE and YOURSELF MR JOSH.
If RONA officials want to make this right then, JOSH needs to apologize and also fix his attitude towards customers or keep loosing the regular customers as we are coming to this store from last 11 years.

I have always shopped at the Crossiron Rona location because it is convenient and the staff are usually very polite and well-mannered. I’ve always felt comfortable shopping here—until June 9, 2026.
On June 8, I went to buy some gravel and noticed that the bags were damaged and unsealed. I took a picture, showed the cashier, and she kindly offered them to me for 50% off. It was a smooth, easy experience. Realizing I needed a few more bags, I returned the next morning (June 9) and found 4 more damaged bags left on the shelf.
I took a photo and went to the cashier, who called a manager named Josh to assist. From the very beginning, Josh was impatient and impolite. He refused to look at my photos or my receipt from the day before. Instead, he insisted that I push the heavy bags of gravel all the way from the garden centre back to the front cashier just so he could inspect the damage.
Even though it was far, I did exactly what he asked. When I brought the cart back, Josh was just standing there chatting with another associate. I stood there waiting patiently for him to examine the bags. After making me wait for a couple of minutes, he suddenly yelled at me, demanding to know why I was approaching him instead of a cashier—even though he was the one handling my request!
I was polite throughout this entire interaction. If the 50% discount wasn't available today, a simple and polite "no" would have been completely fine. There was absolutely no need for his terrible temper and unprofessional behavior. If a store manager acts like this, what does that mean about Rona's customer service?

To rent a vehicle, you must:

NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
