She took care of another customer instead of finishing with me. When I walked away, she started to chase after me to finish helping me. I went to customer service, explained the situation, the young girl at the counter just shrugged her shoulders. Very unprofessional. Very frustrating experience.

I was sold a pricey bucket of paint with the promise that I would get 30% off the following week, as it was coming on sale according to their system. I went back to buy more supplies for my home improvement projects and collect my 30% discount using my electronic receipt, only to be given a bunch of excuses by the manager or assistant manager as to why I couldn't get my discount. She looked like she wanted to fight, so I just left—it wasn't worth arguing with someone over 20 to 25 bucks. I haven't been back since and will never step foot in a RONA again. Thanks for exposing yourself over 20 dollars. Lesson learned.
- JJJussaraJul 29, 20265.0The cashiers told me to do a 10/10 survey but I lost my receipt so I can't give a 10/10, but I had to leave a shoutout for Haley in the garden centre! My husband and I just moved to Canada and bought a new property. We came in during a super busy rush over the weekend, just needing a lawn tractor. Haley was so helpful showing us the models, but then she went above and beyond with our garden. We don't know much about what grows here, and she was like a walking encyclopedia on trees and perennials! She taught us what comes back every year, what works for our area, how much sun and maintenance everything needs. She helped us plan the landscaping, taught us so many tricks for how to set up our gardens next year, and gave us amazing ideas on what fruit trees we should grow. She is just an incredible person. Cant wait to plant some hascaps next summer! Thanks for all the amazing ideas. Every time we come here we have such good experiences with all the garden centre staff. I wish I knew more names in that department, but honestly, they are all so great. Thank you, Haley! 🥰
- MMmatt123esJul 22, 20261.0Products and installations are not guaranteed as shown specially when you useRona Home Service The installer and management are working together to scam you and when you complain there is not even a phone number to talk to someone. We used their service for vinyl fence installation as it was promoted on their website that Rona supplies the material. From the start we were tricked by installer that what we ordered is not available and you have to use what is available on the market. When we checked we found out that correct / standard material was / is available . Once we reached out and raised our concerns for months emails been sent and still waiting for Rona regional manger to contact us. We ended up with odd size not standard fence at our backyard. Dont be surprised when you order a job from them to get only 1/2 completion . Really be careful at this point I am not even sure if RHS would even cover the warranty that they promote on their contract.

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?

If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
