Went to Rona on the 12th of May and was horribly disappointed with their lack of customer service. Waited for assistance for over an hour after asking twice in the seasonal section trying to purchase some outdoor furniture. Went to speak with a manger to see if we could have some assistance and one was unable to be located and the other was in the washroom for about 20 mins before being able to speak with us. Once Gerry finished, he Informed us it was quite normal to wait for service and we had to be more diligent by waiting in line with customer service to get the help purchasing products we wanted as they don’t have staff to assist all customers. Will never deal with this location again.

Very clean and spacious and the staff there actually helped me immediately, helped me check out because I had a large purchase, they loaded it onto a cart, and helped me load it into the car.
If that sounds standard for Rona let me tell you that this was the second Rona I have been to today and the service here from start to finish was one hundred percent better in every way, if I need Rona again it'll definitely be this location.

I had a great experience at RONA+ Calgary- Crossiron thanks to Shelly. She was extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we asked for help. My first visit in Rona today was disappointing. I have no complaints for the item we purchase but once we did self checkout,one of the staff was looking at us very suspiciously and asked to show our receipt. She also said that it looks like we didn't scaned some items. Once she checked receipts even though everything is scanned and paid, still she is looking on the cart suspiciously.It make us feel bad and even she didn't say sorry.
Otherwise we are happy with all products and varieties.
Please make feel customer welcomed and behave respectfully .Thank you

I just used this Rona for new countertops. We drove in, an hr and a half, to see what they had in store. We found the style I wanted and spoke with Melissa. She was very helpful in making sure it was gonna work for our area. We had to leave them there as we didnt have a trailer at the time but she personally made sure we got the best pieces due to damage from being on display and handled by other customers. We went back for pickup and she had them waiting for us at the front and is even picking up an extra end piece and mailing it to me as they didnt have enough at their store.
This is a great example of going above and beyond.

How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
When you order online, choose the option “Pick-up in store“ at checkout. You will receive an email confirming that your order is ready. Use the Pick-Up Scheduler to select the time slot that suits you. Park in one of the designated Curbside Pick-up spots, call the store, and an associate will bring your order to your vehicle. Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. When will my online payment be processed?
Upon confirmation of your order, we will validate the credit card you used. The payment will automatically be charged to your card when the transaction is completed online.
How much time will it take to process my order?

If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
