We purchased a sofa and were strongly encouraged by the sales associate to buy an additional cleaning/protection warranty. She made it sound like it would cover issues if anything happened to the sofa, so we decided to purchase it.
After only about six months, a stain appeared on the sofa that cannot be removed. On top of that, the entire sofa has started pilling from normal everyday use. When we contacted the company, we were told that pilling is not covered under the warranty.
So what exactly is covered? The stain is not properly handled, pilling is not covered, and the warranty that was pushed so heavily at the time of purchase now feels completely useless.
I am very disappointed with both the quality of the sofa and the service after purchase. It feels like this warranty was sold to us just to make an extra sale, not to actually help customers. I would not recommend purchasing the protection plan, because in our experience, it did not provide any real support.

Had another piece of furniture delivered today on July 1, forget the 2 gents’ names who delivered but they’re great guys. Quick easy process and respectable lads. They set up themselves and are in and out quickly and professionally. Really appreciate the service and the guys help. 10/10 😁

We purchased a brand-new sectional that arrived damaged. Leon's arranged a replacement, but because home delivery wasn't available in our area, resolving the issue ultimately became our responsibility. Over the course of the exchange, we made eight separate trips to and from a third-party shipping depot, spending hours of our own time and fuel to resolve a problem that wasn't caused by us.
When we finally picked up the replacement, one of the pieces was wet between the cushions upon opening it. At that point, we lost confidence in both the product and the replacement process and returned the sectional for a full refund.
I appreciate that Leon's honoured the refund and that the staff we dealt with were courteous and professional throughout. However, a refund simply put us back where we started financially—it did not address the weeks of inconvenience, repeated transportation, or the burden placed on us to resolve Leon's quality and delivery issues.
I hope Leon's reviews its replacement process. Customers should not have to shoulder this level of time, expense, and effort to resolve problems that were not of their making.

I had great experience with Nam, she was top notch with communication and follow up. She made sure everything was smooth on delivery even though it was her day off. I've genuinely never had such a good experience with a sales rep at any industry or store prior. I've been shopping since Feb for a couch spoke with many floor reps from different competitors and she was by far the most helpful. Top notch, I'm not sure how Leons employee / customer training is done however she absolutely should be leading the next training seminar.

My experience with Leon’s has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
I purchased a furniture set for approximately $6,000(including extended warranty) a sofa, loveseat, and recliner chair. Unfortunately, the furniture developed serious quality issues, including material ripping and other defects. The furniture was repaired twice under warranty, but the problems continued.
After the repairs failed to resolve the issue, I requested a replacement for the sofa and loveseat. I was informed by Leon’s staff that the sofa and loveseat would be replaced. I even obtained documentation from their office confirming that the replacement was for the sofa and loveseat. Based on the information provided to me, I believed the matter was finally being resolved.
However, I was later shocked to learn that Leon’s was now claiming that the recliner chair must also be returned, despite the fact that this was never clearly communicated to me when the replacement was discussed. This directly contradicts what I was previously told and what was documented.
What makes the situation even more frustrating is that I have repeatedly asked for the original documentation and detailed explanation supporting this decision. Instead of receiving clear answers, I have received conflicting information from different representatives. One person tells me one thing, another tells me something completely different.
I also paid approximately $6,000 for the furniture, yet the warranty claim resulted in a credit of only about $4,000. When I asked for a detailed explanation of how that amount was calculated, I did not receive a satisfactory answer.
As a customer, I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply want transparency, consistency, and written documentation supporting the decisions being made regarding my claim. Instead, I have spent months dealing with poor-quality furniture, repeated repairs, changing explanations, and communications that felt more like pressure than customer service.
The most disappointing part is that rather than working with me to clarify the situation, I received email from Manisha mentioning escalation and possible legal action while my questions remained unanswered. No customer who is simply seeking clarification and documentation should feel intimidated for asking reasonable questions.
I expected better quality, better communication, and better customer service from a major furniture retailer. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.
I would strongly encourage anyone purchasing furniture and extended warranty coverage from Leon’s to keep copies of all documents, emails, and conversations, as you may need them later.
Very disappointed.
