2 stars because I feel we got good products at a good price.
After spending $ purchasing a stove, fridge, and 2 vanities, I feel any employee treating you as though you are a hindrance just for picking up your items is very inappropriate. Even moreso when said employee is a manager... Michael.
Then when we went to leave, there were 8 employees at the front, only 2 of which were doing anything. Admittedly, at least a couple of the additional staff standing around were trainees, apologizing to the customers they were not able to help (self checkouts were not working) as they hadn't been trained for that yet. But when managers appear to help, they didn't show any of the other staff, they just rolled their eyes and huffed about how they are the only ones working.
If you want your trainees to work, teach them. If you want your customers to come back, treat them well, dont treat them as an inconvenience.

I am not one to write reviews or bash employees, so that is not my intention here. I had quite a large online order, and for the most part it was there. What should've been a 15 minutes strap and load turned out to be significantly longer. The employees were actually quite wonderful, I had quite a few missing things including styrofoam sheets which around half were torn, and when we went to go pick a replacement we found the rest were torn too. Walking back and forth from one end of the store to the other side is not ideal, especially when you are told to go to customer service to pick an order and then have to walk back where you initially were. That being said I now got home only to count and realize I am missing the j trim I ordered, so now I need to go back for one single piece of trim, which is not the most ideal situation but I guess it's on me for not ordering more/checking. I guess what I was annoyed about was not necessarily the customer service, because all the employees were great, but the process in which customers are served. I was told the girl that picked my order gave up and said that the customer could find it himself. Unfortunately it leaves less to be desired to shop here unless there are deals than to go to the same store in a different colour across the street.
I'm really sorry for the negative review but maybe it could enable you to right the wrongs and fine tune the process. I myself will probably avoid shopping here for the time being.

Our experience with RONA was honestly quite frustrating. It took over a month for everything to finally arrive. On top of that, we had to call several times just to get updates, and only then did we find out that one of the appliances hadn’t even been properly processed or received on their end.
We were told installation was included, so we expected everything would be set up when it was delivered. When the installers came, they refused to install the appliances because of some remaining tape/packaging. Instead of just removing it or helping us sort it out on the spot, they said they couldn’t proceed due to policy and liability reasons and left without installing anything at all.
It also felt like there wasn’t much ownership taken anywhere in the process. issues were just passed along rather than actually solved. When we brought it up with staff, we were told they’ve heard similar complaints about the same third-party installers before.
Overall, it was a pretty frustrating experience from start to finish. Between the lack of updates, having to chase information ourselves, and the installation not being completed over something so small, it just didn’t feel like the level of service we expected.

I bought some 24 x 30 patio slabs went to the side to pick them up waiting 20 minutes over there. Finally, someone showed up and told me to go to the pro side so I go there. Wait a 10 minutes. Nobody showed up. I ended up doing everything myself when I was down to my last one, somebody finally came out and asked me if I needed help I said no thank you I’m already done…great store 🤣

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?

How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
