    One of the best places I’ve been to. Employee named Amanda working was so helpful. She was the employee that brightens the store. Me and my friend had projects for high school and needed wood. She helped us with everything, gave us the best possible materials and other things we needed. She took care of her customers and I hope well for her. She was very considerate and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

    The man at the gate (Jamaican) asked me were the 2x6 lumber i was looking for was i said im not the one who works here you do. He ran off every time trying to not help. I seen a 90 year old man struggling while the Jamaican man younge fit doddled from one side of the yard to the next doing about as little as possible. I don't think he wants a job if this is the case send him home. ( Huge liability factor when your customers are doing the work with no safety equipment or ppe or training. Not worth $2 the man at the gate.

    We are renovating our basement and have been getting most of our supplies with Rona (Leduc). They have been very helpful in this process! Recently, I bought wood panelling from them, and I asked if they could honour the sale price I saw on them from 3 weeks ago and they said yes! There was a mix up with paint, I think the worker who did it doesn’t normally do paint, but the usual person is very good and has a great eye for colours! They even picked out my son’s nursery colour based off of wall paper I brought in and it was perfect. Anyway, the other worker messed up our paint, and we noticed too late, and Rona gave our next can of paint for free.

    Yesterday (Sunday April 19) my family went to grab some anchors and nails. There were over 5 people in line when we walked in. When we went to pay the line had not moved. That's when my husband noticed the girl was in training and there was NOBODY helping her. Customer service finally took someone to their side but we had been waiting over 10 minutes to pay when we finally gave up! There was an older man on the computer not willing to help the trainee either. Poor girl needed help and there was nobody to do that! Worst customer service. We will not be back. This is why Amazon is beating others out!

    I visited Rona on April 11th at 11:20 AM and had a very frustrating experience. The checkout line was almost all the way down the lightbulb aisle, yet there was only one till open—which is pretty unbelievable for a busy Saturday morning. The cashier, Tristan, called for help three separate times, and you could hear the stress in his voice as the line kept growing. Unfortunately, no one responded to his calls. Despite that, he continued working as quickly as possible, staying polite, smiling, and apologizing to every customer he helped. He handled a tough situation incredibly well. After a long wait, another staff member finally came to assist, but didn’t acknowledge the situation or apologize to any of the waiting customers. With the number of staff in the store, this shouldn’t be happening—and it’s not the first time I’ve experienced this here. To make matters worse, when I went to leave, the exit door was locked. With my hands full and a baby with me, I had to figure out how to unlock it myself, as no staff were available to help. Overall, this experience was disappointing. Better staffing, communication, and customer awareness are clearly needed. Do better. Tristan should be given something for this.
