  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was worth sharing. I’ve been in the landscaping industry for over 20 years and have been purchasing landscape materials from SiteOne for many years. Last week, during the heat wave, I stopped at the East (Sherwood Park) location to pick up just ¼ yard of road crush. After pulling onto the scale, I waited over four minutes while the employee at the scale office continued speaking with another customer. During that time, I noticed two other employees inside who appeared to be available, yet no one acknowledged me or attempted to assist. After waiting, I got out of my truck and walked inside to see if I could pay. The lack of urgency and customer service was disappointing, especially for such a quick transaction. As a contractor, time is valuable, and even a few unnecessary minutes can put you behind schedule. In contrast, my experiences at the West Edmonton SiteOne location have always been excellent. The staff there are consistently friendly, efficient, and professional. Aurora, in particular, has always provided outstanding service and always gets contractors back on the road quickly. As a contractor, I spend approximately $50,000 to $70,000 each season on landscape materials. I had also recently spent about $6,500 with SiteOne, although that purchase was through the West location. Regardless of which branch I purchased from, I expected the same level of professionalism at the East location. Customer service and relationships are just as important as pricing. Contractors remember how they’re treated, and unfortunately this experience has made me decide that I won’t be returning to the East (Sherwood Park) location. I’ll gladly continue supporting the West location, but I’ll also consider suppliers like Whitemud Landscape Centre, who have consistently been competitive on pricing and have always treated me well. I hope this feedback is taken constructively. Every interaction with a customer is an opportunity to build a long-term relationship, and that’s what keeps contractors coming back.

  Not thrilled. I use to go here prior to ownership change. I bought rock and patio stones. I walked the helper out and showed what I wanted, then they charged me for the wrong items, definitely not as helpful as I remember it.

  Just ordered 2 big bags of screen loam and top soil durning the long weekend. Asked for it to be delivered Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning came and they had it ready and delivered before 1pm. The email gave a way to track it and it updated along the way and I even received a text update. Andre delivered it perfectly in the exact spot we had hoped and perfectly neat. Couldn't have been a better or smoother transaction. Would highly recommend!
