    Purchased a fridge from the Lowes on Gateway Blvd prior to it closing in 2023 which we were informed came with a 10 year warranty on the compressor. Called LG for assistance on a issue we were having with our Fridge cooling and were then asked for proof of purchase that unfortunately neither myself or my husband could find. We then went to the now Rona in South Common but were informed by their service desk that they were unable to help us find our receipt as their systems had since changed and gave us a number to call Lowes for assistance in the states. After multiple attemtps to get ahold of Lowes for help, we ended up not having enough information for them to look for our purchase unfortunately and accepted that we would now need to look at purchasing a new fridge sometime in the future. We ended up needing to go to the Rona on the Northside as all the store's near us were sold out of sump pumps. My husband had called ahead to see if they would would put one aside for us before we headed there, which the manager Meghan had graciously agreed too. When we arrived we had it waiting for us at the service desk with a women (I believe her name was Donna), she was incredibly friendly and helped us with the purchase. My husband then decided while we were there to take a look at Fridges as the cooling problem with ours had started getting worse. There was unfortunately no one available in the Appliance area so Meghan came over to assist. We told her we were the ones who asked to have the sump pump put on hold and thanked her for agreeing to hold it for us. We then went over Fridges with her and when we told her what happend to ours she mentioned as well that LG should have been able to assist as the Compressor was covered for 10 years. We told her we had already tried going through LG and that we were unable to find the receipt as the store had closed. She asked when we purchased it and then invited us over to her computer and asked for our information. Within minutes she was able to locate our receipt! My husband and I couldnt believe it. She printed it off for us and gave us a number to call LG again and told us to reach to her if we had any more problem. As of today we have now been serviced by LG and parts are on order! I just want to say thank you to Meghan for saving us a purchase! It was our first time in this store and it was worth the drive.

    Loreley at customer service was a lovely lady to deal with if you need to do any returns shes ur gal. Megan the manager id rather sit in a porta potty in plus 50 weather then deal with her. How she has any management position baffles me. -10,000/10,000 to deal with megan 1 million/10 to deal with Loreley.

    Sunday June 28 one p m, no one here to help you out three different departments.No staff on duty., Update June 30 the number they provided was just to their call center, not to the actual store owner. After calling the number listed above and they wanted me to post the review, to an email and blah blah blah blah blah, what a waste of time. Just made a bad experience worse.

    Can't thank Loreley enough for her exceptional service in the lightning department today. Also kudos go to Tyler, Ram & Gil for dismantling a display fixture we wanted.

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt this needed to be mentioned. The washroom was in unacceptable condition. The floors were filthy, there was no toilet paper, no paper towels, and the washroom was so poorly maintained that I had to clean the toilet myself before I could use it. This is not the level of cleanliness or maintenance I expect from a major retailer. I spoke to management before I left because I believe they should know about it. I hope this review encourages the store to improve its washroom maintenance for future customers. Based on this experience, I can only give one star.
