The staff here are great. But you can't expect them to be in two to three places at once and then reprimanded them for the store not doing well financially. That's just bad management.
- MPMarco A C P5 days ago1.0Very disappointing experience at RONA West. The customer service was poor, and I felt completely unwelcome. The staff in the Garden Centre and at Customer Service seemed unwilling to help and acted like assisting customers was a chore. It felt forced, and there was no effort to provide a positive experience. Customer service should make people feel welcome, not like they’re an inconvenience. This location needs to do better. Based on my experience, I would avoid this store.
- RMroxanne marcouxJun 30, 20261.0June 19 I purchased a pitboss. They brought a beat up box to the cashier. I asked for an other box and they said that was the less damaged box they had and that the grill wasn't damaged. After peaking through the hole I noticed damages on the pellet box on the grill and pointed it out. We agreed on an extra discount. When I got home the box was absolutely filled with mice droppings. There was more damages... (Please note that I live in the country about 2h from the store) After opening a few more part boxes I found a live mouse. So buyers beware. This is a 1500$ grill.... I would expect a better care for their products. After talking with customer service they said to send it back for refund... I wasn't going to waste more fuel and take it apart.... I already went through all the hassle so I kept it. But I will not be purchasing anymore products from that store. Mice infested.. also the can I purchase of protection spray for the BBQ cover had a broken cap and couldn't be use.... That was an extra 20$ down the drain
- RRRy RoJun 30, 20261.0I'm a small business owner Inquire for a rental van went to Rona West customer service they check the van before I rent it and she prepare the paper works she explain the rules, I asked her if I can rent it for 4 hours it's $15 for every 30 mins. I agree with it and went to pay for it, when I took the van the tire pressure is low, she said I can't rent it, I ask can it be fix I'll just wait for it, the manager of the store came out and told me that I can't keep the van for 4 hours, does not make any sense I already paid and they already approved for it to be used for 4 hours but it is their mistake they told me I cannot use the van for 4 hours anymore. When manage ment make a mistake why does customer have to suffer for their mistake their offer are only in favor for them not the customer. I hope next time they can have a solution that is fair for the customer. Big waste of my time for all their mistake. This is the second time this manager did this to me from the old Rona west Branch to the new Rona west Branch. If there is a negative star I will pick that one but it won't let me.

Tills are garbage, under staffed and feels like they are forced to work there. If you don't know exactly what you want and where to get it when in there, consider just going to a medi center for fun instead.

How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
When you order online, choose the option “Pick-up in store“ at checkout. You will receive an email confirming that your order is ready. Use the Pick-Up Scheduler to select the time slot that suits you. Park in one of the designated Curbside Pick-up spots, call the store, and an associate will bring your order to your vehicle. What are the terms and conditions of making payments online?
You can use a Mastercard, Visa or Rona credit card to pay for your purchases online — by entering the cardholder name and address on the account statement when you make your purchase. Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. You will need to bring your "Ready for Pick-up" email with you as proof of purchase. This notice includes a copy of your consumer agreement. You should keep it in your records for future reference.
When will my online payment be processed?
Upon confirmation of your order, we will validate the credit card you used. The payment will automatically be charged to your card when the transaction is completed online.
How much time will it take to process my order?
Most of the products you can purchase online are available within 2 hours of placing your order. You can check the final processing time for your order at the top of your shopping cart page. Can I rent a truck at this location?
Yes. We offer truck rentals at this location. To reserve a truck, please contact the store directly. Availability may be limited, especially during peak seasons, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm before visiting.
How do I know that truck/van is available for rental at RONA+ location?
If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
Are there any other conditions I should know before renting truck/van?
