Harvey was incredible! From the moment we walked in he greeted us, didn’t follow us around and gave us space to breathe, informed us when we had questions and was very attentive to detail! Very disappointing experience at Leon’s South Side. We bought a TV stand that turned out to be too large for our space. When we returned to exchange it for a smaller one, we were told we had to pay a 50% restocking fee. The salesperson ASHOK S mentioned a 48-hour return window but never clearly explained this huge fee. Customer service was also unhelpful. This policy feels unfair and extremely frustrating, especially since we only wanted an exchange, not a refund. We will not be shopping here again.

We recently purchased a new couch, powered recliner, chair, and ottoman from Southside Leon’s and I absolutely want to recognize both Ahmed, our Sales Associate, and Melissa Harris, the Sales Manager.
Ahmed was wonderful to work with from the start. He was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable but never pushy or high pressure. He gave us space to look around and make our own decisions but was always nearby when we had questions or needed help. That kind of sales approach makes such a difference.
After our furniture came in, we unfortunately had some issues that needed to be sorted out. We went back and spoke with Melissa and she was absolutely amazing. She was extremely friendly, understanding, approachable and willing to work with us to get everything handled. At no point did she make us feel bad or uncomfortable for bringing up the problems we were having. She listened, helped and made the whole situation feel much less stressful.
Both Ahmed and Melissa were professional, kind and genuinely wonderful to deal with. We really appreciated the no-pressure sales experience and the way Melissa handled our concerns after the sale. Excellent customer service all around. They are both a wonderful asset to the company.

We had just come from another furniture store where we were followed, asked if we needed help constantly; watched over by vultures. So when we arrived we were already dreading the experience. That’s where we met William. He promptly welcomed us to the store, introduced himself and answered a quick question. Then gave us the space we needed. He was close enough that if we had a question he was within eyes view and be able to help. He checked on us a couple times but it wasn’t overwhelming. When we were ready he quickly answered some questions and when he was hesitant on the answer; he asked for a second opinion. He engaged with our son, it made us as a family feel welcome. We weren’t just another customer to him. He understood what we were looking for, he didn’t push when we declined something. William made our experience outstanding. We cant thank you enough.

I had a very frustrating experience with Leon’s. I recently started furnishing my home and chose to buy several items from them. About a month ago, I purchased a nightstand that arrived defective, the drawer is loose and doesn’t close properly.
I contacted Leon’s, and it took them two weeks just to respond and arrange for a contractor to come and attempt a repair. Unfortunately, this contractor only comes to my neighborhood once a month. I wasn’t available on the only date they offered, which means the next opportunity is another month away. At this point, I’ll be stuck with a defective nightstand for over three months.
I asked Leon’s for a replacement instead, especially since this has now become a safety concern. I have a 1-year-old baby who touches everything, and the loose screws and faulty drawer are not safe. Despite this, they insisted that the contractor must try to fix it first before considering any replacement.
I’m very disappointed with how Leon’s handled this situation. This issue wasn’t caused by me, yet no real solution has been offered. I won’t be purchasing from this company again.
