We had some complications with the furniture set that we had purchased from the brick and this is after a couple of years time. I would like to say that the staff there was friendly and they were most certainly willing to help and they did exactly what any good corporation would do they made good on what their warranty was. Should you be looking to purchase most Certainly this would be a place that I would recommend they had no problem stepping up and doing what was right that is few and far between in this day and age.

We were shopping nearby, and it happen to be a tent sale event at this particular location. I’ve never been to one, so we were simply curious what this all about. I was horrified to see all those dusty, dirty, crusty pieces of mediocre furniture and the prices asked. Dear management. To be fair, you need to pay for this items the amount asked to get those dumped at a landfill, ridiculous even to get such pieces on sale. Those textile couches with water/dirt stains on em will haunt me till the rest of my days. It’s like we got under the bridge somewhere and landed on the kind of furniture you would expect to see there, right next to fire barrel. With a price tag of 500$, 800$ lol. Super niche collection to say at least. Brick, do better. People blame corporations for their greed, and that “sale event” was a bright display of it. Yuck.

I purchased 4 items from the Brick. Marc (sales rep) tried to get us to purchase the protection plan, which we declined. His manager then came out and proceeded to push the protection plan, pitching us a deal to "write the purchase up today and enter it into the computer on when the tent sale begins on Thursday and this would give you a much better price on the protection plan". At the time of writing up the order, all 4 items were in stock and available to be delivered on our preferred delivery day. I received a call yesterday (6 days after the Tent sale began and when the order was supposed to be inputted into the computer) and was told that 2 of my items are no longer in stock and that I would have to wait until mid June to receive them.
No one called me on the day that the order was to be placed to inform me of this, they waited 6 days to call me. In addition, I never wanted to protection plan but was pushed into getting it which delayed the ordering and as a result, 2 items went out of stock in that time.
The Brick has not provided me any reasonable solution for mistake. I was basically told I have 2 choices, wait the month to receive my items or receive a refund.
This is 100% their mistake and they should make it right with the buyer.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. This was easily the worst customer service experience we’ve ever had.
We went to pick up a mattress and mattress cover purchased in April 2026 from The Brick Heritage location from the distribution centre. While we were securing the mattress to our trailer, warehouse staff brought out the mattress cover and placed it on the exposed trailer frame without communicating this to us, despite us having explicitly instructed staff to place the cover inside the trailer bed. We drove away believing the cover was inside the trailer.
When we contacted the warehouse, the warehouse manager deflected responsibility to the store manager, who deflected us back to the warehouse. Both were dismissive and unhelpful, ultimately telling us they would be “happy to sell us a new cover,” despite the fact that we never received the item we had already purchased due to the warehouse’s error. A customer service complaint was also filed and we were told that nothing could be done.
To make matters worse, they claim to have video evidence of me holding the mattress cover. However, what they are referencing is clearly the white paper invoice, not the cover itself, which is packaged in black (see attached photo). While mistakes can happen, the response from the store manager, warehouse manager, and customer service team make it clear that there is no interest in resolving the issue or taking accountability, only in protecting themselves. Extremely disappointing experience and very poor customer service.

Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
