  Overall pretty poor in store experience and delivery has been a nightmare with incredibly poor communication. I would not go to this store or a Rona again. I went in store on May 7th and purchased a patio set. The guy helping me was actually quite helpful and friendly. I couldn't fit it in my car so decided on delivery. Setting up the delivery took nearly 45 minutes, I had to repeatedly spell out my address and Street name, and it seemed to be a long and tedious process. We eventually landed on a delivery date of May 16th (today). It seemed odd that I hadn't recieved any communication about the delivery yet so I called, and either didnt get help, or got transferred to the shipping department , which I was on hold so long I had to call back a total of 4 times because I kept getting disconnected. Eventually I got a guy who seemed helpful, I just wanted to know if I was getting my delivery today becuase I was waiting around my house for it. He said yes but not time line, but would be before 7pm and they would call me before delivery. Great! Only problem that never happened , I called again and they told me to call Bowness, the guy at Bowness said my paperwork wasn't filled out correctly and it's not getting delivered today, and that I should get it tomorrow. Overall terrible communication and customer service.

  For easily a decade and a half I lived within 5 minutes of this store. Routinely I would drive to the competition as rarely did this company have anything in stock that I needed, think abs plumbing fixtures. Today. I thought maybe I would give them one more try. I drove from my new location and went in to find a garden hose and a handful of other small items. The hose is one of those expanding things. I could not find one. I looked it up in the website and yes, 30 in stock. So I asked the woman watering plants while in her mobile phone where it may be. She said along wall in greenhouse. I replied no they are not there. Her high level customer service response, well that’s where they are supposed to be. I let her to water and chat on the phone. Honestly. If you wish to compete in the current retail market you need to do better. I left without purchasing anything.

  Usually good service….however today was horrific. Wait at paint counter for “Any” Help over 15 minutes, then dismissed. No staff? On lunch, no coverage No staff …. Came back after lunch to get help Wait was 25 min .. staff other than paint tried to help …. Another 20 minutes Staff very short tempered which just aggrevated the waiting customers further. You need to do better if you want us as customers again..

  I had such a wonderful experience at Rona that I feel compelled to share. About two years ago, I purchased many bags of garden soil, and an employee named Tommy (who is from Taiwan) kindly and proactively helped load everything into my car. His enthusiasm, friendliness, and willingness to help left a lasting impression on me. Today, I happened to visit the store again and saw him there. It was so nice to recognize a familiar, dedicated face. Tommy continues to provide the same excellent service, and it’s clear he truly cares about customers. Thank you, Tommy, for your kindness and professionalism. Employees like you make shopping at Rona a great experience!

  I had a really frustrating experience with the Minute Key machine here. The first key I made didn’t work at all. I then contacted customer service and got a free replacement, but the second key still didn’t work either. In the end, a Rona staff member helped me cut a key manually . it worked perfectly on the first try, and it was even cheaper than using the machine. Honestly, the value of this machine is terrible. If I had known RONA staff could help cut keys properly, I would never have used this machine in the first place. RONA itself deserves 5 stars, but the Minute Key machine inside doesn’t even deserve 1 star. It also wasted my time having to contact their customer service just to get a refund. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using this machine.
