  We have been very happy with the entire process from choosing our blinds, the installation, and the attention to service when we had a minor issue with 2 wands 4 years after installation. Our issues were resolved quickly and attentively. The communication has always been easy with friendly rapid response. We were always informed about shipping and next steps. Thank you!

  The team at Budget Blinds South East Calgary is wonderful! My dog recently damaged one of the shutter panels I purchased through budget blinds. I reached out for a replacement and they had it replaced free of charge and added 2 extra panels incase it happens again. Brittany emailed detailed instructions for installation and had the panels shipped directly to my house.

  We were told by our home builder that Budget Blinds gives their clients 50% off, so we decided to check it out. We had a scheduled appt with Cliff. He said his only time was 10:00am on a particular weekend. We were there on time but no one was at the store. We waited and 15minutes later, we get a text from Cliff stating he would be 15minutes late. So we figured 10:30. He arrives at 10:45, no apology, and when I stated we were a little frustrated that he’s 45minutes late and has taken up our time, he said that he thought the appt was at 10:30…but he’s the one who scheduled the time via email. No real apology and we continued on with our appt. We are new to choosing blinds but kinda had an idea. Cliff, however, wasn’t very helpful. He didn’t try to give us ideas, didn’t upsell, didn’t show us examples or colors, didn’t seem prepared for our scheduled appt. So we got a basic quote and moved on. We then went to another blind store, locally owned in Calgary. They gave us a quote for Hunter Douglas and we sent what we were ordering to Cliff to see what he could price out. Cliff’s price was almost identical to the other company, but that company wasn’t giving us a discount. For better customer service, I would definitely give my money to a local Calgary company. Maybe Budget Blinds doesn’t have to work for customers, and one customers project doesn’t matter to them. I don’t know. But unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend them after this experience. Update: as per other lower reviews, Cliff always has a response that is contradicting of the client.

  We used Budget Blinds in late 2021 for our house and have been very pleased with them since then. Just this morning one of the blinds wouldn't stay open, and within 3 hours of reaching out with the issue, we have a replacement blind ordered and on the way! It was seriously that simple. This kind of service is what will keep us using Budget Blinds and recommending them to others. Thanks again!

  We purchase our window coverings for our entire home that we purchased in August 2023. At that time the sales team responded quickly and set up an in home meeting to review our options. The sales person was very professional and experienced. We received our blinds in about three weeks and were installed professionally. We were very happy with the outcome. At the three year mark one in the blinds would not close or retract. I made a phone call and received a response within 20 minutes. In a few hours I was advised that supplier was going to replace the blind free of charge. I had expected to pay for a repair so I was pleasantly surprised with this outcome. I am very impressed with the customer service and highly recommend Budget Blinds. You won’t be disappointed.
