    The Brick sold me a faulty washing machine that was used and told me it was new. I knew it was broken 5 minutes after delivery but they told me I had to contact the manufacturer to get it serviced. Here is the response from the manufacturer: "We apologize for the difficulties you are experiencing with your appliance. However, based on our records, this specific washer (Serial Number: xxxxx) was already exchanged due to a long delay for parts to fix a reported noise issue. As a result, this unit is no longer eligible for service under the manufacturer warranty that we handle. We have replaced it under Sales Return Order #SRO024603, it was intended to be scrapped or disposed of by the merchant." Well, The Brick didn't scrap it. They sold it to me and then told me "sorry, you need to get it fixed by the manufacturer." You can't make this stuff up! The most shadey sales bs I've ever experienced. Still waiting for a response from The Brick on this. It'll be interesting to see how they handle it--they've just been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

    UPDATED REVIEW. when I went to put the bed frame together the wrong instructions and hardware & parts were in the box. I spent many emails and phone calls today to have to come back into West van from Coquitlam to pick up the right pieces that were missing, which were many rollers, bolts, nuts, legs for the bed frame. It was really frustrating. and nothing was offered by the brick to make it right for the huge inconveniences that I had to go through today. I still haven’t even gotten my bed together yet and my bed was dropped off at 10 am and it’s now 530 and I’m still in West Vancouver stuck in rush-hour traffic to get back to Coquitlam. quite disappointed for not even offering to make it right Movers were efficient on time and professional.

    From when we entered the store we were acknowledged, greeted and offered assistance. Mohsen was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the products my husband and I were looking. We ended buying 2 pieces and now we are looking forward to them to be delivered. Thank you, Mohsen, for a wonderful experience and such a personal approach.

    One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a furniture company. I purchased a sectional sofa, and the process was extremely frustrating from start to finish. They delivered the wrong piece twice. On the third attempt, they finally brought the correct piece, but it had a technical defect. Multiple delivery mistakes, followed by the receipt of a defective product, indicate a serious lack of quality control and coordination. I expected much better service and reliability, especially for a major purchase like this. Very disappointing experience overall.

    Buyer beware: inspect your furniture before leaving the store if you purchase from The Brick, especially the The Brick – Park Royal location. Timeline of my experience: • Dec 26, 2025 – Ordered a bookcase. Sales experience and price were good. • Jan 15, 2026 – Promised pickup date. Item delayed. I understood and was willing to wait. • Jan 27 – Bookcase finally available for pickup. When I arrived, the box was damaged, taped back together, and had gouges in it. I was told to take it home and contact them if there were issues. When I opened it, several pieces were broken, parts were missing, and there were no instructions. Based on the condition of the packaging and contents, it appeared the product may have previously been opened or returned rather than being a new item. Customer service agreed it looked like a return. Their first solution was to offer me a credit if I kept the damaged product. I was then told they would need to charge my credit card again to send a replacement—even though I had already paid for the original purchase. After pushing back, they agreed to replace it and promised free delivery on Feb 10 due to the inconvenience. I took the entire day off work waiting for the delivery, only to receive a message late that afternoon saying they made a mistake and the item had never been shipped. After multiple calls, escalations, and repeated requests for payment again, the replacement finally arrived at a store near me on Feb 20, 2026. Thankfully that box was new and undamaged. In the end, I did receive the bookcase I originally paid for—but it took nearly two months, multiple phone calls, a wasted day off work waiting for a delivery that never came, and repeated requests for payment for an item I had already purchased. If you are ordering furniture for pickup or delivery, I strongly recommend carefully inspecting the packaging and contents before leaving the store to ensure the product is not damaged or a previously opened return. I waited a few weeks before writing this review so it wouldn’t come across as written in frustration. After reflecting on the experience, I still feel the entire process showed a lack of respect for the customer’s time and loyalty. I would be interested to see if The Brick reviews this situation and considers how much time and frustration this caused a long-time customer..
