I was in the store today for quite a while as I’m in the middle of a renovation and needed a few things — paint mixed, information about a hot water tank and installation, and I was also looking at doors. During the entire time I was there (about two hours), I honestly didn’t see a single employee on the downstairs floor except one young lady and her service dog.
She was walking laps around the whole lower level the entire time, checking in with every single customer who came through. She kept asking people if they were doing okay, if they needed help finding anything, and letting them know she’d be around if they needed more assistance. It really stood out to me because you don’t see many employees these days who are smiling, attentive, and actually engaged with customers.
She ended up helping me several times over those two hours. She mixed my paint, helped me get a quote for a hot water tank and installation, and even went above and beyond by giving me a coworker’s email who could help me set up the install once I’ve made my final decision. Not only that, but she clearly knows the store incredibly well — when I asked where something was, she didn’t just point me to an aisle. She could tell me exactly where to go, like “halfway down on your right on the bottom shelf,” which was impressive.
What really shocked me is how much she helped everyone. From what I saw, she assisted every customer who came through those doors while I was there, and she didn’t just help — she actually made conversation and made people feel welcome.
I also have to mention her service dog. The dog is absolutely adorable, but also one of the most well-trained service dogs I’ve ever seen. It stayed right beside her the entire time, listened to every command, didn’t bark, didn’t growl, and stayed completely calm even with lots of people around. Honestly, my own dog couldn’t do half of what that dog does. It’s clear both of them are doing an amazing job.
Good on you, RONA Tillicum — you have an incredible young worker on your hands. She went above and beyond, and it made my experience in the store so much better. And of course, her very cute furry partner is a bonus that I look forward to seeing again the next time I’m in the store.

I come into this location regularly, and I wanted to give a shoutout to the employee who works there with her service dog. I can never remember her name, but her service dog is very memorable. She always goes above and beyond whenever I come in.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, takes the time to listen not only to me but to other customers as well, and genuinely tries to help find exactly what you’re looking for. If the store doesn’t have the product I need, she will suggest alternatives or even point me in the direction of another local place that might carry it, which I really appreciate.
I’ve also noticed that she always has a smile on her face and is consistently helpful. One thing that really stood out to me is that when other customers’ dogs have accidents in the store and the owners walk away, she quietly picks it up without complaining. That says a lot about her character and dedication.
I also want to applaud RONA Tillicum for being inclusive and a great representation in the community. Allowing people from all different backgrounds to work there — including employees with service dogs — is amazing to see. You’re setting a great example and paving the way for other stores to follow.

I visited Rona+ today looking for a specific product and had such a positive experience that I felt I needed to share. When I first asked at customer service, the gentleman there kindly guided me to the correct aisle number. I must have missed it the first time and ended up checking a couple of other aisles he suggested.
While I was still searching, I met Shannon, who was clearly busy but still took the time to help me. Even though that particular item had recently reorganized and the item wasn’t easy to locate, she went above and beyond to look for it with me. After about 15–20 minutes of searching, I told her not to worry and that I would just order it online.
To my surprise, about five minutes later she came back to find me with the exact product I was looking for! That truly made my day.
As someone who works in a client-facing role myself, I really appreciate when staff take that extra step. The team at this location has always been helpful during my visits over the past couple of months, and they also have a great selection of products.

Their customer service is garbage! I had a part issue with the shower stall I bought from Rona Tillicum. As ai approach the customer service, the guy standing behind the counter was so focus on his cellphone and I stood there for 30seconds and I had to tell him that Im waiting then he realized that I was there and waiting so he put away his phone. I asked him to assist me to get the part I need as the one I got has a manufacturer issue. He couldnt help
me so he called the Customer service manager Dishanp. Dishanp told me to go to Langford because they might have it there. So I asked why I have to go the Langford if it says that they have 2 available. Dishanp gave me excuses that He is busy and no one is there to assist getting the part I needed. Clearly these guys lack customer service especially Dishanp who just kept walking away instead of helping me with my problem. There was no Apology nor any way to calm the situation. I waited almsot an hour and I made the suggestion because Dishanp does not have the skill to deal with the situation. I told him that I will just come back because nothing was getting resolved. Eventually Rona Langford rectified my problem, They were friendly and took action without drama, they should learn from Rona langford how to deal with customers and Home Depot.

I had a really great experience here yesterday. I had bought a staple gun and but accidentally bought the wrong staples. I was hesitant to come back but I received such great customer service. First since I got the wrong staples they got stuck in my staples gun. The clerk helped dissemble and remove the wrong ones and then proceeded to share where I can get the correct ones.
I also found a huge 8x 10 rug discounted at $120 which is unheard of these days! There were plenty of items that were discontinued b it great variety of home goods and overall great experience.

Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.

We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
