  Had a great experience with Sentinel. The customer service was excellent both on the phone and in person. The booking process was super easy online and the discount packages were great. Would definitely recommend the Burnaby location - great service by Alex on site.

  On my move-out day, my access to the Burnaby Sentinel facility was terminated and i could not access my storage unit. Assistant Mgr Shayan Jafari said it was because my account was delinquent. I said it is impossible as i have activated auto debit and have been paying on time every month. He said he has tried emailing / calling me multiple times and I didn't respond. At that time, my movers have been waiting outside for over an hour (we originally planned to start the move an hour before their office hour) so i agreed to pay the amount owing plus $9 late fee for every week of delay. An hour later, Shayan called me back and told me that "their system" made a mistake and he refunded me the erroneous charges and late fees. However he refused to offer me any compensation for the hour lost due to their "system mistake". I went home and searched my email and voicemail, there were no records of Sentinel attempting to reach me about my delinquent account. Also, i have visited Burnaby Sentinel a total of 4 times, and 2 out of 4, they were either unavailable or late during their supposed office hour. Otherwise, the facility is fairly new and clean. It is an odd shape though with a lot of narrow zig-zag hallways. It is priced a little lower compared to the other Lower Mainland Sentinel Storage Facilities so you do pay for what you get. If anyone ever considers coming here, make sure 1) you book an appointment to ensure someone is here; 2) double check your monthly bills as you never know what you get charged. 3) Also, forget about the $100 referral fee, they never paid my friend for referring me.

  Came in on Saturday but the office was closed, came today around 3-ish and met withShayan who was welcoming and warm towards us, this was my first choice in storage and I am happy, the lock is so confusing but me and my partner enjoyed coming here to check out the storage unit we are renting and it is very good, safe and convenient for me, easy to add my memorabilia for concerts and blind box plushies and clothes, thank you for letting me rent storage here will come here when I need to put my personal items with me.

  We’ve had an excellent experience with Sentinel Storage Burnaby. The facility is clean, secure, and easy to access, with convenient hours and well-organized units. Shayan, the facility manager, is outstanding - professional, friendly, and always ready to help. He goes above and beyond to make the process smooth, whether it’s moving in, upgrading units, or answering questions. Highly recommend this location, especially thanks to Shayan’s exceptional service.
