    Dear Dyson Customer Service Team, I wanted to share my appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Feenanda at your Pacific Centre Downtown Vancouver location. She was incredibly helpful and patient in troubleshooting and resolving the issue with my vacuum machine. Her dedication to finding a solution was impressive, and I was very satisfied with the outcome. Feenanda's professionalism and kindness made the experience much more pleasant.     Unbelievable ... the air purifier cost over $500.00 in 2017 dollars CAD. No support, unable to get a new filter, and unable to take apart to oil. You won't ever see me purchasing another Dyson product, nor do I recommend you do so. Your money is all that Dyson wants ... forget about any support for their product.     DO NOT BUY!!!!! ZERO STARS.... For context let me post an email I sent to management with my story and post the reply I got after aaaaaalllll of that: My Email ---- Dyson Customer Service Management Team, I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and absolute frustration regarding the handling of my vacuum cleaner service case, referenced above. What began as a call for a service inspection over two months ago has devolved into an unacceptable test of my patience, culminating in an insulting resolution that has left me without a functioning product. Timeline of Neglect and Delay... My original unit was sent to your service center in Calgary over two months ago, during the first week of October. Our communication with your support teams started in September about the issues regarding our sucking power and faulty trigger, and a jammed screw I could not remove from the manufacturer build process to further prevent our attempts to fix our own unit. Since then, communication has been virtually non-existent. I have initiated over three phone calls to your customer service line over the past eight weeks, each time receiving vague assurances or promises of a call-back that never materialized. No emails came in about the unit being inspected, no confirmation that it was on the to do list. Weeks of silence between these contact attempts demonstrate a complete failure in your company’s communication protocols and a blatant disregard for my time as a customer. The Insulting 'Resolution' after this extensive, two-month-long ordeal, I was recently told on my final call with customer service that we would be contacted about our unit again in 24 hours as our case had been elevated to priority 1. We were NOT informed of any details and instead a tracking number was sent to us.. assuming our unit was fixed and working? A week goes by and a surprise to us all that a whole new replacement unit was issued—a refurbished unit, (not new). Upon receiving and fully charging this refurbished unit, I discovered it does not even stay powered on for longer than four seconds at a time!!! It is completely, functionally useless and therefore in even worse shape than our original unit that we sent up to Calgary!! After waiting over sixty days, receiving a replacement that is unequivocally worse than the unit I sent in—a unit that cannot even sustain basic operation—is frankly appalling. This replacement proves that absolutely no quality control or testing was performed before shipping and both pisses me off as a customer and infuriates me to the point of no return. TO RECTIFY THE ISSUE I require an immediate, escalated resolution that rectifies this entire ordeal, which has cost me significant time and frustration both at home and over the phone, not to mention a house that has not been cleaned for two months!!! I demand the following: Immediate Contact: A call or email from a high-level case manager (not a standard customer service representative) within 24 hours New Replacement: I will not accept another refurbished unit. I demand a brand new, current-generation replacement unit to be shipped immediately via express courier. Warranty Extension: An additional, significant extension of the standard warranty period on the new replacement unit to compensate for the over two months I have been without a functioning vacuum. If a satisfactory solution is not immediately actioned, I will be forced to escalate this complaint further through consumer protection agencies and public forums. I will also take this story to CBC News for CBC Marketplace customer complaints and feedback on products sold in Canada. I will be telling as many people that I know to NEVER EVER EVER BUY DYSON AGAIN on the podcast that I host and just about every soul on earth that I speak to. AND I WILL BE CALLING DYSON AGAIN SOON TO SORT THIS OUT!!!! I expect better from a company that prides itself on premium engineering. This has been an eye opening disappointment that I can hardly believe is real. ---- - Name and contact details were sent
