I tried multiple times to make payment arrangements well before the 45-day lien window. They flat-out refused any partial payments, forcing the account into deeper delinquency. When I paid in full on Day 45—the deadline they themselves confirmed—they still charged me a “lien fee” equal to a full month’s rent. Their own user agreement says lien actions apply AFTER 45 days, yet they charged the fee ON Day 45. No lien services were performed, and they refuse to itemize what that charge represents. Their contract is extremely one-sided: • No partial payments allowed • “Lien fee” = 1 month rent, automatic • Fee is non-reversible even when wrongly applied • They can arbitrarily increase rates at any time This isn’t customer service—it’s a system designed to profit from hardship. Storage customers are often already struggling; Sentinel exploits that. I strongly recommend avoiding Sentinel Storage.
