We recently bought two sofas from this location. We were mostly impressed by our sales person, Lav. He was extremely helpful in making sure we are happy with our selection and he made follow up calls after the delivery. Lav made sure that the transaction goes smoothly and he also took care of a small issue we had. We would recommend his services to anyone who is interested in purchasing something from Leon’s Furniture in Langley!

The sales person that helped us was good. We’re please with the product (so far) and the price. But I cannot say how pleased I am with a delivery from Leon’s. I was able to watch live updates the whole day to see where my delivery was so I wasn’t stuck waiting at home. And then the driver who is very polite called to say that they were about 15 minutes away and sure enough they arrived right when they said they would. The freezer that we purchased needed to have the door removed in order to fit into our space and they did it no problem. The drivers were kind, polite, and they made me feel very comfortable. Thank you again.

Our old mattress and box spring were picked up first. Then, we had a boxed bed frame delivered on a Saturday. The delivery people were efficient and respectful. On Sunday, the mattress and adjustable base were delivered, and efficiently assembled.
One surprise in the process was to find that my husband and I had to assemble the bed frame. This was quite difficult due to our limited mobility, and confusing instructions that came with the bed. Eventually, we got the job done, through much time and trial and error.
At the second delivery, several dirty shoe/boot prints were left on the carpet, and the delivery people left an Upholstery Care Kit to use on the marks. Thank you for the chemicals, but now we have to clean the carpet.
In general, dealing with the salesperson, the customer service and delivery people was pleasant and worthwhile.
I would shop at Leon's again. I would recommend that you review your assembly procedure to provide assembly of all pieces.
Thank you to all,
Suzanne Coombs

So we bought a mattress from leon’s 2 days ago and set up delivery for today, Tuesday February 10, as you can see in the photo, we hadn't heard anything about a delivery time by 11:30ish, so I called the store and the lady tells me 'Nope, there's no delivery set for today' despite the signed piece of paper stating it would be TODAY… We have already 'bagged up' the old mattress and moved it to the main floor to make it easy for the delivery guys to take AND made arrangements to be home today missing work to accept the delivery. Lady tells me that the soonest they can deliver is Friday Feb 13... which means now 3 days with no bed? unreal

I have never experienced service this consistently poor from a furniture retailer. From day one, incorrect information was provided over the phone, which caused us unnecessary inconvenience and wasted trips into the store just to correct basic details that should have been handled properly the first time.
The wrong couch was delivered not once, but twice. The first delivery was scheduled for my son’s birthday. Based on the information provided by Leon’s, we were told everything was confirmed and ready, so we got rid of our old couch in advance—only to be left with no couch at all when the incorrect one arrived. Since then, we have been forced to use an old basement couch for over a month while waiting for this issue to be resolved.
After waiting weeks for a replacement, we were once again delivered the wrong pieces. This happened despite the store manager assuring me that additional safeguards would be put in place, including warehouse verification and photo confirmation of the correct items prior to delivery. It is now clear those steps were never taken.
Communication throughout this process has been disorganized and frustrating. Staff appear undertrained and unable to properly handle or resolve errors, requiring constant follow-up on our end just to get basic answers.
The most disturbing part of this experience was learning how deliveries are handled. The delivery drivers—who were the only positive part of this entire ordeal—explained that they are not paid for incorrect deliveries unless items are left at the customer’s home. As a result, one incorrect piece was left in our house simply so the drivers could receive partial compensation. That is an unacceptable business practice.
To be clear, the delivery drivers were professional, honest, and courteous both times. They communicated clearly and did their best in a situation entirely outside of their control.
The store is requiring that this piece of furniture be picked up before they will issue a refund for funds they have held since mid-December. However, they are unwilling to provide a specific pickup time and instead expect me to remain available for several hours waiting for delivery drivers.
I have already been inconvenienced multiple times due to errors that were entirely on the store’s end. I confirmed that I can be available first thing in the morning, but this was declined without any reasonable alternative being offered.
I am simply requesting my refund so that I can purchase a couch elsewhere. The store has refused to issue the refund until this item is retrieved, yet has shown no flexibility in arranging a reasonable pickup window — despite this being their mistake.
Additionally, my experience with customer service has been extremely unprofessional. I was hung up on today after expressing frustration when told there were no options beyond what the representative dictated. This is completely unacceptable. An issue of this magnitude should not be handled at the customer service level and should have been escalated to management immediately for proper resolution.
This experience has been exhausting, avoidable, and completely unprofessional. I will never purchase from Leon’s again and will absolutely be sharing this experience so others are aware of what they may encounter.
If zero stars were an option, this would be a zero.
