  My Wife and I visited the Orchard Plaza store in Kelowna, we were treated very well. We dealt with KARRA. She was very knowledgeable about the recliners we wanted, and the Curio cabinet we liked We ended up purchasing the chairs, curio cabinet and kitchen table. There was no pressure to buy and all our questions were answered. I wish all sales people were as great to deal with as She is.

  Visited JYSK for the first time. Store has a lot to offer starting with bedsheets, pillow cases, artificial plants to beds, mattresses wardrobes, cabinets and furniture. They have a large variety of chairs including bar stools and dining. Great selection of computer tables and mirrors. Staff didn't bother at all. Pillow cases on the other were cotton but not good quality, they were 144TC. There is no bathroom supply here in case you are looking. Overall it's a decent store if you are interested in purchasing furniture for home/office.

  I have never been a big shopper at JYSK but recently bought a bedframe and mattress. I had an issue with the bed frame and was extremely impressed by their after sales service. Kara the store manager was straight forward and honest and an absolute delight to deal with. We got the issue resolved and I am now a loyal customer as it is very rare in 2025 to find a store with the after sales service that she provided. 10/10

  Absolutely unacceptable management — specifically Thomas. Yesterday, we brought in our king-size mattress for a warranty replacement due to noticeable sagging on one side. The store staff checked the receipt, confirmed the warranty, and verified that we purchased the required protector. They also checked that the mattress was dry (we transported it in a cargo van). From the start, it was clear they were not happy to help, but they eventually approved the replacement. We then brought the mattress to the loading dock. The employee there told us the protector wasn’t needed and removed it. Since he was alone, he dragged the mattress across the floor without any protection. We were told to wait. After quite a long wait, the store manager — Thomas — suddenly ran out and told us the warranty was denied because of a faint spot on the mattress. There is a barely visible mark, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the sagging issue we were claiming. I tried to explain politely that: • the mattress had already been taken from us • it was dragged around on the floor without a cover • now we cannot sleep on it • we were never warned that a detailed inspection would take place, otherwise we would not have removed the protector But instead of listening, Thomas constantly interrupted and raised his voice, making it clear he had no intention to help — likely because of my accent. He told us to take the mattress back and claimed we are no longer allowed to return to this store for warranty. No apology, no explanation — nothing. We left with our mattress now even dirtier on the sides because of JYSK’s handling. I feel disrespected, misled, and extremely disappointed. I will be contacting JYSK’s head office regarding this situation and, if needed, pursuing this matter further. JYSK leadership should take a close look at the unprofessional behavior and customer treatment at the Kelowna location — especially from the management.
