  Karen in the office at Sentinel Storage in Kamloops was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We appreciate the user friendliness of their online customer portal, the hours of access to our storage unit, and 3 month promotion they currently have in place. It's amazing what you can fit inside a 5x10 unit.

  Outstanding... Understanding that what I was storing was very heavy, they offered me a different location with far easier access for less money. A very rare thing nowadays. And it's a Canadian company..Bonus

  Sentinal Storage in Kamloops, I went to two locations to research what I was looking for in a storage unit and this place was great they have wonderful customer service, nice storage units all different sizes to suit your needs. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful they took me on a tour of the whole place and showed me all the security features like gates, locks, and the security boxes at the gate that you have your own code for. I would definitely recommend Sentinal storage if your looking for a unit.

  This storage facility is fairly typical, paved, rodent control, snow removal. When I rented 8 months ago I was shocked at the rate of $255 (every 4 weeks) for a 10'X15' every 4 weeks but was told it's the high demand in Kamloops so I paid. Of course they make you buy their lock and if you don't buy your own content insurance then you have to buy it from them. That's a cash grab that other facilities don't do, whether or not I want to insure my contents is my business not theirs! It has no impact on their carrier policy! But last month when the rent went up to $284 I asked why, and again I was told it's based on demand and occupancy. I pointed out that all the 10X15 units next to me have been vacant the last 8 months! But, this rent increase did inspire me to shop around and I found an equivalent facility charging $189 (for a month) for a 10X15. I think the worst thing about Sentinel in the 4 week billing and no ability to etransfer (I think they stand alone in the storage industry with that policy), so you have to pay at the office Mon - Fri 9-5 or call a number to request a link to be sent to process a credit card payment. Extremely difficult and time consuming. I think I'll be quite happy at my new facility paying $189 monthly, not forced to buy a lock, not forced to pay a content insurance and being able to schedule an automatic monthly etranfer on the 10th of the month is a godsend! I don't have to prepay, don't have to take time off work to make office hours and don't have to go through an automatic call system to get a link to make a payment after hours. This is an edited review after Sentinel asked for the opportunity to match my new facility.
