I think this store has turned a new leaf, I had great service yesterday when I needed some landscape ties and they brought out a new lift and helped me get what I needed and going in a pleasant manor. The forklift operator was also knowledgeable and gave me some tips on ordering lumber from them. As a contactor I appreciate efficiency and he understood the need for this. I am deducting 1 star simply because they do not carry some of the inventory I would expect, though I do understand it is a small store. I would like to see them carry Rainbird drip irrigation fittings and tubing and have a larger selection of gardening items.

A little fed-up.
Assistance in the store is inconsistent; the knowledgeable people either aren’t there or don’t seem eager to help. Some staff are ok, others don’t seem to understand key components of their job, i.e., are you there to exclusively stock shelves or assist people in store, can you do both?
(Pro tip; if a customer is staring at a shelf, or obviously searching for something, and you’re an employee, ask the customer if he/she has any questions, needs help, etc.)
I would assume Rona instructs their staff to assist, and seek to understand all customers regardless of knowledge or skill level but I don’t find consistent evidence of this at this store.
Products that I feel should be in stock, aren’t; the paint I used on my deck last year, a basic size of timber lock screw, old-work electrical boxes, etc.
Rona on Edmonds is a case study on why online shopping is destroying brick and mortar operations. Why would I get in my car and go to a store for a mediocre, if not frustrating, experience when I can find everything from the comfort of my sofa and helpful videos on how to do it.
