  From the moment we entered the store to the delivey, the customer service was above and beyond. Our sales rep Phoung was fantastic spending as much time as we needed to make the perfect selection.   Allen was the absolute nicest salesman ever! We have used him so many times. He’s not pushy he doesn’t try to talk to you into something you don’t need, but when you tell him what you want, he will give you options of what they have available. The delivery was also amazing. The guys were in and out, they were polite, they were respectful of my property. Overall, the experience cannot be surpassed.

  I want to leave an honest and constructive review. I have been a loyal customer of American Furniture since they opened here in Tucson, and I have made several large purchases over that time, including a recent living room set. Unfortunately, there is a recurring issue that I feel needs to be addressed. Every time my family and I visit the store, we feel ignored. Employees often avoid approaching us, and we usually have to wait or insist to receive assistance. This has happened consistently since they opened, including during my most recent visit. As Hispanic customers, this experience is disappointing and uncomfortable. We come ready to buy, we are respectful, and we deserve the same level of customer service as anyone else. American Furniture has good products and strong potential, but customer service needs serious improvement. Hiring bilingual or Hispanic staff would greatly improve the experience for the large Hispanic community in Tucson. This review is meant to be constructive and to help improve the business, not to attack it. Equal treatment of all customers should always be a priority.

  Great experience at American Furniture Warehouse thanks to Phuong Nguyen! From the moment I walked in, she was helpful without being pushy. Ms Nguyen gave me plenty of space to browse but were right there whenever I had a question about dimensions or couch options. She made the whole process seamless and enjoyable. Building quotes and options for the sectional was super helpful for me to go home, measure, decide and make an informed purchase. Thank you, Phuong. I will absolutely be reaching out to you when I come back soon for more items!

  We recently spent over $3,200 on new furniture in the Gilbert, AZ location. We won't spend a dime in any location ever again. The in-store Gilbert experience was mostly okay until a sales person made things awkward and got somewhat pressuring; she poached us from a different sales person and made us make a decision to stay with her or go back to him after he simply left to use the men's room. Fast forward to a few days ago. We went online to order another king size platform foundation for a second bedroom. We had one delivered in the order mentioned above. They want $90 to ship this one item; we were charged $142 for delivery of a platform, two couches and a mattress in the prior order. $90 making it a 37% markup for just the platform. We didn't need or want them to set it up. We wanted it to be delivered to our door step. That wasn't an option. Before ordering the item for pickup instead of delivery, we contacted the Tucson/Marana, AZ location to get the dimensions of the box to see if we could fit it in a vehicle. Sure, the dimensions of the unit all setup are on the website, but that doesn't help with the size of the box. The warehouse refused. We spoke to a manager to see if they would help us. She flat out refused. We told her at that point we wouldn't buy the product and will go somewhere else. She didn't care one bit. We weren't rude. We weren't asking for the world. We simply asked for an associate to give us dimensions and were denied; probably because they want to force you into absurd delivery fees. I'd venture to say they need to fire their head of logistics if they can't find a way to offer a variety of delivery options that make sense and are affordable. Or perhaps this is part of their game to keep their sticker prices low and make it seem like they are the better option.
