The woman working in the appliance department didn’t even acknowledge us until another employee told her we were waiting for assistance. When we asked for total prices with and without installation, she got irritated, said she’d “already told us several times,” and refused to provide totals because it meant “going back on the screen.” When I mentioned maybe going to another location, she encouraged us to do so and then made an inappropriate personal comment instead of doing her job. We reported it to the manager, Kevin, who was just as dismissive and offered no apology or accountability. We left and bought a better deal at Home Depot the same night. Lowe’s loses sales because of employees like this — rude, unprofessional, and completely indifferent to customers.

I guess the guy doesn't like sons who look out for their mother's best interest. How do I know this, he walked away and wouldn't even look at us after that. Another young man setting up appliances was nice enough to call someone to our aide. Dishwasher bought and salesman avoided!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
