  OMG. This place is amazing. We were greeted right away by staff but they weren't pushy salesmen, just there to answer questions. This place is HUGE and has a great selection of all furniture and furnishings. Best of all are the prices. They can't be beat. We know a lot of folks in the area who have bought from them. We plan to also once we decide what to get...so many choices.

  Ive made several purchases from American Furniture Warehouse, I love this store, they have excellent prices, a wide variety in every room of the house to shop for. A big selection to choose from, customer service has been amazing every time.

  We had a really great experience at American Furniture Warehouse and wanted to recognize the team that helped us. We were approved for $1,750 through their financing company, but the couch we fell in love with was priced at $1,798. It was such a small difference, but initially we were told there wasn’t anything that could be done. Since we were already planning to purchase additional pieces — an ottoman and another add-on — I asked if it would be possible to adjust the numbers slightly by adding the $48 difference onto the ottoman instead so we could still stay within the financing limit. As we were about to leave, I asked if we could speak with a manager. We were helped by Shea Butter, who took the time to listen to what we were trying to do. He went back to check with his manager Jeremy, and after explaining the situation they were able to make the adjustment so we could complete the purchase. Thanks to them, we were able to buy the couch we really wanted along with the other pieces we planned on getting. The process was smooth, transparent, and we never felt pressured into buying anything extra. Everything rang up exactly as discussed, and the team was patient, kind, and willing to work with us to make the sale happen. Customer service like this really stands out. We truly appreciated them taking the time to help us find a solution instead of letting us walk out over a $48 difference. Highly recommend American Furniture Warehouse, and a big thank you to Shea Butter and Jeremy for going the extra mile! (surprise location, 303 & Waddell)

  Updated to add: Amanda, the front office manager I believe is her title, was an absolute hero in a tough situation. She was empathetic and knowledgeable and assured me she could help solve the issue I had and she did. I wasn’t going to shop here after years of being loyal and referring others but she single handedly changed it to the point where the initial concern was a non factor. The store is always stocked clean and the staff are friendly. I’ve bought several items over the years from here.

  As my wife and I entered the store, we were greeted and left alone to wander through the store unencumbered by the expected onslaught of high pressure sales reps. We were looking for a new living room set and were amazed by the huge selection. As we looked through the inventory, we found two sets we liked. Stopping at our second choice, we tried it out. We had questions about it so we needed a sales person to answer them. Then, as though fate directed his path, Johnny Meader walked over to us at the perfect time. Johnny answered all of our questions thoroughly and completely. I was impressed by his knowledge of the products, but what impressed me more was the friendly, patient and respectful way Johnny dealt with us. We told him that we really liked another set, so we went to show it to him. Again, his knowledge impressive and as we took our time thinking it over and pondering how the set would look in our home, Johnny's patience.....unbelievable! So we finally decided to make the purchase; however, we had one more question. What do we do with the old furniture so the new furniture could be delivered? Again, Johnny had the answer. He gave us the time to dispose of it, and he gave us his personal phone number so we could set up the delivery of the new furniture. Because of Johnny's knowledge, friendliness, patience and professionalism, I can honestly say that American Furniture Warehouse in Surprise will be my go to store for furniture and Johnny will be my go to salesman!
