- CSCorey SchwartzJun 25, 20241.0I brought in a Dolphin robotic pool cleaner that had stopped working. Power supply came on, cleaner didn't move. Took it in and picked it up a few days later. Told it was back in working order after replacing the power cord for $400. Put the cleaner back in the pool and surprise it still wasn't working. That means that they didn't test the cable, and didn't check the repair. Brought it back and it was there for about two months with no calls or updates. I finally called them and they said the power supply needed to be replaced, at a cost of $300. I'm pretty certain that there's nothing wrong with the power supply as it's a very simple circuit, well designed and just one year old (they didn't know that). I told them that the $400 had to be refunded and I wanted the cleaner back. There are too many reputable stores, you don't need to deal with this one. Update: 7/22/24 Unsurprisingly, the check has not arrived.
