My husband and went to this store looking for a recliner. My husband is suffering respiratory problems and a recliner is needed to help him sleep. Janice met us at the door. She showed us several different recliners until we found the one! They had none readily available and a Thursday delivery felt like a long time to wait! Bless Janice's heart because she conferred with another associate and was able to sell us the floor model! That relieved so much stress for Robert and me! She was the answer to our prayers! She was our blessing! We will refer everyone to this store and to Janice! She is a kind soul and we appreciate her more than she will ever know! Thank you, Janice! You were our angel today!!!

Nothing cheap anymore. My last chairs from lazy boy were bought in 1992. 34 years is pretty good I would say. If this purchase is just as good I'll be 101 when it falls apart.

I am writing to share a very disappointing experience my husband and I had at your store recently.
We came in specifically looking for a Herman Miller desk chair. As soon as we walked in, a sales associate looked both of us up and down in a judgmental way. When my husband explained we were shopping for a desk chair and mentioned that your website showed one available, the associate again looked us over and dismissively told us that you “only had one chair.” She then went a step further and suggested that we shop at Costco or Amazon—while once again looking us up and down.
We were dressed casually (jeans, tennis shoes, and a T-shirt), but that should never determine how customers are treated or whether they are perceived as able to afford items in your store. The assumption that we did not belong there was both offensive and unprofessional.
What makes this experience even more disappointing is that we fully intended to purchase not only the chair, but also a living room set and bar stools from your store. That opportunity was lost due to the way we were treated.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no customer should feel judged or dismissed based on appearance alone. I would appreciate knowing how this will be addressed moving forward.
