Brutal experience with new hot tub leaking on day 2. But that isn’t the reason for a two star review, that’s just the start and one reason supporting it. The store was fairly responsive initially to the concern. They sent a tech to look at the tub. By that point we had a second leak. After pulling all the panels apart no source of the leak could be found. They tried to convince me it was water leaking over the tub edge and leaking through the top touch screen control panel. The second issue. The panel wasn’t even flush with the shell, so water could in fact leak directly down on the control equipment. But that wasn’t the cause or source of the leak. Just another quality issue. All of this of course on a $20,000 “flagship” hot tub. I should also mention they just dropped the hot tub off. No orientation or easy quick start guide to even know how to turn on the jets. We figured that out but they clearly sent the message that they just sell you a hot tub and you’re on your own. While we were convincing the owner, Scott, that they just needed to replace the hot tub we were still able to use it, but then the hot tub tripped the GFCI. After calling them they assured me that’s just a normal test (something you would think they would tell you!). So, we flipped the breaker and back in action…for a couple days anyway. We invite family over to sit in the tub and 5 minutes in…yep, GFCI trips again. Now hot tub cannot be used as we wait for a replacement. I should note that I appreciate they ultimately agreed to replace it and with the assurance the tub they build specifically for us will go through even more water leak testing and quality assurance. So a few weeks later we get the replacement tub and once again…issues. The touch control pad once again wasn’t flush with the shell allowing water to spill under it. Whole side of the tub didn’t work while they tried to convince me over the phone it was normal. Tech comes out and after much “tinkering “ determined there was silicone stuck in the valve. He cleared it out and the jets started working (except of course one of the foot jets that still doesn’t work). The tech, who was great btw, then had to hammer the frame under the control panel to create enough room for the panel to sit flush then put silicone around the edge. Now we already have an LED light that doesn’t work. All this time the apparent owner, Scott, assures me he will take care of us and even be on site for the delivery of the replacement hot tub. He unfortunately had a family emergency (which I understood) but even after all these issues…no follow up. And of course we ordered $800 steps that after three months with no delivery or updates, I had to follow up and demand to cancel and refund. The real issue is after all of the issues, not once did Scott or the store rep proactively follow up with us. Absolutely horrible customer service. So, would I ever buy from them again or recommend them. Absolutely not. I could even live with the issues had they just shown even the slightest concern that I was satisfied. Very disappointing.

It was very easy to buy and pay for the spa at their shop. They talk like a rainbow like everything is fine no problem. You’ll look after you. When it came to installation, the hot tub itself. It was a disaster. The guys came unprepared they didn’t even come to the job site first the guy was rude in a hurry we had to participate in the installation. They after they left we filled up the The hot tub and all kinds of black stuff came out, and it was literally filthy water that came out out of the jet. I called the spa. They told me just to shock the water which I did, which was a joke I own another spa of North I’ve been around a spa for many years. This one was a disaster. I phoned them complained. Abby will send somebody out not to mention. It was extremely hard to get a hold of anybody. My salesman himself was totally useless and simply had nothing to say. After three months of owning the hot tub I had rodents chewing through the bottom and I did some research and they say all Bulfrog Hot tubs are built very cheap plastic plastic plastic. It’s a nightmare to pull out that big door in order to get into the motors again plastic and you got a hammer and like crazy for it to fit. I do not recommend buying a spa from Bulfrog and I’m disappointed that Costco I use them for selling their hot tubs. I thought Costco would choose a better product. So for all you guys in need of a hot tub do not go to Bulfrog. I wouldn’t even give it a star, but I gotta give it something but Again, the salesman was totally incompetent. Buyers beware
