I always love a good Hobby Lobby run. There's tons of materials and products to suite many many hobbies! I'm broke so I'm never able to get more than a few things at a time but...ya know that's still fun too! New stamps, a fun game, pretty colored paper that sort of thing. It's pretty expensive but it also has plenty of cheap options for first time hobbies. I wanted to learn to crotchet and they had a cheap beginner version ($10) and I also wanted to embroider and they had any options for that too! So they are very beginner friendly and cheap enough that you won't feel sad if you don't end up enjoying the hobby. The workers are very kind and always around to help when needed. It's coming up to the holidays though so expect it to be packed! There were long lines in every aisle with people getting prepped for Christmas.

First time at hobby lobby and it was super crowded. Staff was friendly and helpful. I did have to ask for some help a couple times throughout my visit. There were very long lines but by the time I got to it it moved pretty quickly.

This is my first time in this Hobby Lobby and it did not go well. ... :Note: like most people I do love Hobby Lobby and the "one star" only reflects this particular incident and not necessarily the store. .. Today 11/3/2025 at approximately 11:30. I was in line between number 7 and 8 and there were a couple of women who appeared to be blocking the access to register 7. .. I hesitated to excuse myself and walk past them because I thought maybe the register was closed even though there was a cashier currently helping someone. .. I merely asked the woman one person ahead of me if the register was open or closed, and apparently the women right in front of me didn't like that. .. Shortly after.. she started to loudly accusing me of standing too close to her and implied I was near her purse and near her child and trying to cut in line and I was harassing her and the other lady in front of her and then ask for security. Of course None of what she was saying actually happened. .. When the manager came up I told her all I did was ask if the register was closed and none of what she said happened and she needs to check the cameras. .. I implied I was confused because the women were blocking access to one of the registers and I couldn't tell if it was closed or not and I have never seen a single line kind of thing at Michaels before. .. it was at that point that the woman decided to say nothing else and quietly paid for her things and left. ... The employees were very very nice to me and professional. .. However I don't think this would have happened if they put up signs that said "form single lines here" OR simply kept everybody from forming a single line. do One or the other. .. I'm hoping if Michael's corporate office reads this they will pull up the video camera from the time I indicated above And archive it just in case this horrible woman decides to lie about something the employees did by not siding with her. ... .. Update. Just got off the phone with Hobby Lobby Corporate Office asking if they could help me obtain video footage of the incident so I can protect myself against any possible future social media claims by this woman and they very politely told me to kick rocks. (I recorded the conversation)

Overall I enjoy Hobby Lobby. It is clean and organized and I feel good value for what I pay for most things. Today was disappointing when there was a long line with one register open. Sadly the manager there wouldn’t jump on. She said it’s because she has people coming in later. I wish this wasn’t the case for the shoppers and the employees. Again, I enjoy hobby Lobby and get all my fall and holiday decor here. Overall, great service. Something, needs to be done with standing management not helping when there are long lines.
