He comes at 9 am installs it. I ask if it’s ready and he say he ran the dishwasher and it’s good. So on Sunday I run the dishwasher. That evening I open it and find it covered in paper- the trap, the filter all clogged. Water is backed up into the bottom of the dishwasher. There’s also a screw, zip tie and tape inside. I go to the closest Lowe’s that night. Martin the store manager at baseline and 19th Ave in laveen assures me he’ll call Monday morning. I hear nothing until this morning when the original installer texts saying he’ll be there in 40 mins. What if I were working or unavailable? So I call Lowe’s corporate after being told they’re looking into it I’m disconnected after twenty mins on hold. I call again after 15 mins I’m connected with crst home team solutions and Lowe’s in a three way. Apparently they’re who is contracted by Lowe’s. The woman is rude saying that it’s the installers job to fix and that it’ll be days if I want a different person and that it’s their policy to only message the evening before. At this point the original installer comes. He uninstalls a hose connecting to the disposal flushes it. He tells me the screw isn’t important and that he doesn’t know where it’s from but that the issue is fixed. There’s still a bunch of water in bottom of dishwasher. I call Lowe’s again. They say they they can’t really do anything else but can look into the dishwasher warrenty. This is theirs and crst fault for not vetting contractors. Manager suggested that I pay the 750 out-of-pocket to buy a new one have the old one uninstalled and the new one reinstalled and then get a return for the original purchase After all the false guarantees and promises, why would I agree to that?

Due to error on the installer the dishwasher is broken after one use- he left a zip tie, paper and tape inside of the washer but told wife it was ready to be used. Now it’s not draining and a random screw was found inside. It’s been awful communication trying to get someone to come look at it. They ended up sending the man who installed it and he said the screw isn’t important even though he doesn’t know where it came from. Store isn’t helpful because they say it’s contracted. Corporate isn’t any use either.
