I prefer to go to Lowe's. I feel it is more "homeowner friendly " They have a large selection of stuff and things.
The lumber is good quality.

Beware! They have old product on their shelves! I just purchased $145 dollars of product from Lowes. Replacing exterior door molding and painting. OSI caulk bad, so bad it was solid! Seal was not broken. Returned and purchased a different batch number of OSI and that was old too! No offer to give me credit as I now have 3 trips to Lowes. Plus the spackle I bought was hard and not worth the $9 I paid. Get it together Lowes. Your my go to store but this is so disappointing.

This has to be the worst Lowes ever. I bought a Christmas tree on November 11th. Took it back the same day within an hour. Tree was too big for my apartment. Here it is January 5th 2026 and I still have yet to receive my refund of my money to my debt card. I have been dealing with this everyday since November 11th and yet to have my refund of $355.20. I have called corporate and they don’t do anything. And the the assistant manager Jay just laughs and says it’ll be there and is completely rude. I will no longer shop at Lowe’s or refer anyone to go there.

Was there today, bought 2 small items and was paying at self checkout had clicked my items and was applying for my vets discount when one of your women working there stepped in front of me and started pushing apply and telling me to show her my license. I just stood there, I said I know how to do it I've done it many times. She says just show me your license I'll finish it. She grabbed the clicker to finish so I complied. I maybe in my 60s but I'm not stuped. Workers are there to help if we need it not interfere. After thinking about it I decided I'd go to Home Depot or Ace next time, there closer anyway.
