12/9 Update: I have updated the Google star review since Bluewave sent out good people to come and patch the pool & fix travertine tiles. I’m not giving a higher rating since it still took a google review to make them reach out. ————————————————————————————- I’m leaving this review as the daughter of the homeowner. My mom spent thousands on a pool built by this company in 2021. When the travertine started sinking in 2023, they sent someone out who simply added more dirt instead of properly checking for a leak. Now in 2025, the same area is sinking again—worse and unsafe—and the company refuses to help, hiding behind a two-year plumbing warranty. If they had addressed the issue correctly the first time, this likely could have been avoided. Watching how my mom has been treated has been incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting accountability or customer care.

12/9 UPDATE: After this review was posted, Bluewave reached out, inspected the issue, and repaired the pool crack and sinking travertine. The team they sent out was professional, communicative, and did quality work, which we truly appreciate. The reason for the reduced rating is simply that the process felt unnecessary. We would have appreciated the issue being fully investigated when it was first reported, rather than needing a Google review to prompt follow-up. While we’re grateful the situation was ultimately resolved, this is why the experience did not reach a five-star rating for us. ——————————————————————- UPDATE: We finally had leak detection done by a plumber, and the issue is not a simple pipe crack near the deck—the leak is down the pool itself. This confirms what we suspected: when we reported the sinking travertine in 2023, your company did not properly investigate the cause. You simply packed/compacted the area and moved on. As a result, our pool has potentially been leaking for the past two years, meaning we’ve likely been paying higher water bills this entire time, and we still don’t know how much damage may exist underneath the travertine or how unsafe surrounding areas could be. If this requires draining and refilling the pool, that should not be at our expense—this situation exists because the original issue wasn’t diagnosed correctly when we first reported it. We are not looking for a temporary patch. We expect a thorough, permanent repair, at no expense to us, and reimbursement for any costs we have already had to pay as a result of this issue. We are currently in contact with Bluewave and are waiting to see how they plan to resolve this. We will update this review based on what is ultimately done. ———————————————————————— We hired this pool company in 2021 and spent thousands of dollars on a large, oversized pool. In August 2023, we contacted them because the travertine tile around the pool was visibly sinking. They sent a vendor out weeks later, but instead of properly diagnosing the issue, the vendor simply added more dirt and compacted the area. No effort was made to check for a potential plumbing leak. Fast forward to 2025, and the exact same area is now sinking again—only much worse. It has become unsafe to walk on, and when we reached out for help, we were told that they only offer a two-year plumbing warranty and therefore could do nothing. This is incredibly frustrating because had the issue been properly investigated in 2023, a slow leak could have been identified and prevented the situation we’re in now. Instead, we are now left having to pay out of pocket to: •    Hire leak detection •    Repair any plumbing issues •    Refill and recompact the ground •    Replace the travertine tile again For a company building pools that cost this much, a two-year plumbing warranty is unacceptable, and the lack of accountability or customer service is even worse. Standing behind your work means doing the job right the first time—not taking shortcuts and then hiding behind a short warranty period later. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and based on the workmanship, warranty limitations, and lack of support, I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a pool builder who truly stands behind their work.
