- RYRebecca yurkaninFeb 24, 20264.0I rented a unit for six months at Extra Space Storage near Crismon and Baseline in East Mesa. Initially, I was a bit overwhelmed having to move everything to a second-floor unit, but the facility provides several four-wheeled carts, which made the process much easier. The other customers were consistently friendly, and the front office staff was always helpful and pleasant. I chose to pay for six months in advance to lock in my rate, since storage prices often increase. After the six months, the rate did go up by about $15 per month, but by that time I was ready to move my items to my parents’ house while remodeling their place. The reason for my 4-star rating is the limited loading and unloading space near the elevator — there’s really only room for two cars at a time, which can be inconvenient, especially when someone had a big uhaul truck or other large moving truck. Also, while I liked the digital access app, it became somewhat time-consuming when making frequent trips upstairs, especially when moving larger batches of items. Overall, it was a good experience and I would still recommend this location.
