  We were referred to AFW by friends after recently moving from Chicago to Arizona, and they couldn’t have been more right—same great selection you’d find at Ashley Furniture, but at a better value. We ended up furnishing three bedrooms, a dining room, and our family room, all with the help of Chris Jenkins. Chris is truly a pro’s pro—extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on helping us find exactly what we wanted without any pressure. He made what could have been an overwhelming process feel easy and even enjoyable. We’ll absolutely be going back to work with him again. On delivery day, the two-man crew was fantastic. They worked quickly, handled everything with care, and were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. You can tell they take pride in what they do. We did have two dining chairs that didn’t meet expectations, but it was handled perfectly—no hassle at all. AFW took them back and is scheduling replacements, which is all we could ask for. From start to finish, this was a true 5⭐️ experience. Great people, great service, and great value. We’ll definitely be repeat customers.

  EDIT/UPDATE: Admittedly, I was not only having a bad day, but also was incredibly frustrated at the situation. HOWEVER, I fully update my review of this store because I not only received a reply here, and an email reply, but the sales manager called me to address the situation. While this situation was incredibly frustrating, I have learned that if you come across this as well, ask for a sales manager, as they do have the ability to be of help and proceed with your order. James couldn’t have been more apologetic and kind to help and although I needed to get a new bed somewhere else, he has offered to help me with something else I did still need. So for that - I revised my review. I appreciate the extra effort that James and the other team members have done to try to clarify and help after this situation brought on so much frustration and delay. They have some decent stuff, probably. Customer service is definitely a joke. The worst part about the experience is that I ordered online to pick up today through apple pay - which the site allows. However, there is nothing on the site that explains that you can’t actually pick up your order by purchasing with virtual pay. I went to the store to pickup and the woman said she didn’t have the authority to proceed because it was a virtual payment and told me to go upfront. Upfront they told me they also can’t give me my order because even though I have my card info - they can’t verify it was me from looking at my payments on my phone that I have to unlock, they can only refund me, and charge me again to prove I made the order. In 3-5 days or so depending on when they ever give me back my money. If I can’t pick up my order that I pay for, then why even allow apple pay?? Now I am looking elsewhere for my moms whole bedroom set. (As this is, amazingly enough, not my first issue with AFW)

  We went in excited to possibly walk out with a family/living room sofa set or sectional. But, as soon as we walked through the doors, the vibes were a put off. It was our first time and there was no one to welcome us or to offer to us a little info of the layout of the store. No one asked us “do you need help?” We had to track down a person to ask our questions. And the person was of little help. The selections in the store were limited and low-quality. We walked out in less than 30 minutes realizing that there was no way we were going to invest our dollars in a low-level business such as AFW. First time and our last time ever to AFW. We are in no rush to purchase precisely what we want and to do so with a business that offers high level customer service.

  After sitting in our living room in our loveseat this afternoon, we both looked at each other and said it’s time for recliners! We jumped up, drove a mile and a half to American furniture and voilà Melvin was an incredible salesman jumped right in and helped us find the perfect recliners for our living room in our retirement!

  American Warehouse Furniture was a great place to shop. The staff was easy to talk to and the customer service was really good. We had shopped around at other stores for a bed and couldn’t find one we liked. We walked in here and ended up buying one of their in-store mattresses. It was a bit pricey, but the bed was really nice. We actually ended up buying another one for the guest bedroom too, which we weren’t planning on doing, but they were so helpful and easy to work with. We also ended up with about $600 in customer care credit from the bed purchase, and we used part of it to buy a Purple mattress pillow for about $300. The pillow was great — we loved it.
