Can I use my current frame with my Tempur-Pedic Mattress?
Yes. We design our mattresses to fit most standard size bed furniture and frames.
Unless your product was not designed for the U.S. market, or is an unusual size, our mattresses should fit.
If you have any question about whether a Tempur-Pedic mattress will fit your bed or furniture frame, we recommend that you refer to the specific product dimensions.
If you choose not to purchase our foundation, you must position the mattress on a completely flat, solid surface with adequate center support.
If you have a slatted foundation, we recommend using slats that are at least 3 inches wide and are no more than 4 inches apart.
Please note that using the mattress without a Tempur-Pedic foundation or similar firm, solid-surface, non-spring base may void the warranty.
How does my new mattress arrive?
With the exception of our TEMPUR-Cloud, select mattresses arrive with White Glove delivery. With our free White Glove delivery, your mattress will arrive in a plastic covering which will be removed upon delivery for set up.
The TEMPUR-Cloud is a convenient option at a lower price that ships to your door compressed in a bag for you to set up on your own time. This design makes the TEMPUR-Cloud great for those who have narrow hallways or doorways, live in apartments, or want to have a contact-free delivery! The TEMPUR-Cloud does not receive our White Glove delivery as it is shipped via UPS. This means that it will be delivered to your door and removal of your old mattress is not available.
What is the difference between Medium & Medium Hybrid in feel?
Tempur-Pedicās hybrids are like no other, because our innovative coil system works in combination with one-of-a-kind TEMPURĀ® Material to deliver unmatched pressure relief and support ā plus, a more āresponsiveā feel from the premium coils that sleepers may prefer. This makes our hybrids a perfect introduction to Tempur-Pedic (and a welcome upgrade!) if youāve only slept on traditional spring mattresses in the past.
While our hybrid mattress options are best described as āmedium,ā theyāre created a bit differently than our other medium-feel mattresses. Our non-hybrid mattresses are constructed entirely of our legendary TEMPURĀ® materials (placed on top of a foam base layer), while our Medium Hybrid options contain a 1000+ coil system to provide all the pressure relief and support you expect from a Tempur-Pedic mattress ā with the added ābounceā from the coils.
Another difference? Our Medium Hybrid mattresses are created using our softest material available, TEMPUR-ESā¢, so our hybrids tend to feel slightly softer than our Medium, non-hybrid options. If a hybrid is starting to sound like a great fit, you can choose between our TEMPUR-AdaptĀ®, TEMPUR-ProAdaptĀ®, and TEMPUR-PRObreezeĀ° models. Do you have replacement covers for mattresses?
Yes, we do, for any of our mattresses with a removable cover. You can order replacement covers for our current mattress models online here. If you need the cover for an older mattress or you don't see your mattress listed, you can talk to one of our Sleep Guides in the store to help you find yours.
Can I use my current bed frame with a Tempur-Pedic mattress?
Yes, Tempur-Pedic mattresses are designed to fit most standard size bed frames. Ensure your frame is a flat, solid surface with adequate support. Using a slatted foundation requires slats at least 3 inches wide and no more than 4 inches apart. Using an improper base may void the warranty.
How are Tempur-Pedic mattresses delivered?
Most Tempur-Pedic mattresses come with free White Glove delivery, where the mattress is delivered in a plastic cover, which is removed upon setup. The TEMPUR-Cloud mattress ships compressed via UPS for convenient self-setup and does not come with White Glove delivery.
