  Just had the worst experience here! Of course you always have to prepare for long waits in line at Hobby Lobby, especially with the holidays. So, I waited in line about 20-25 minutes to purchase some felt for work. When I was finally rung up and paid, I realized immediately, before I had walked away from the register, that the cashier had rung me up for 73 pieces of felt, not 23. The cashier was already helping the next customer, so I told the manager that hangs out at the end of the registers, Brinley, (young girl with glasses and brown hair) what happened. She giggled and said… oh sorry but you’ll have to wait at the end of either of these two lines to get it fixed. Wait…what? The lines were extremely long, so I asked her was she sure I had to wait in line another 20-25 minutes to fix an error they made? She just shrugs and says.. yea sorry. So, I waited in line AGAIN for 25 minutes! I finally got back to the front, the cashier was apologetic and fixed the issue. But here’s the kicker, the cashier accidentally rung up an item twice for the customer right in front of me, who did the same thing as I did- and instead of her being told to go wait in line again for 20+ minutes, the cashier fixed her issue as soon as she was done with me. Which is what should’ve happened for me. It was extremely careless and rude of Brinley. So much so, that I have taken ANOTHER 20 minutes out of my time, to write this review. I get the holiday rush and longer wait times etc.. but this was uncalled for.

  We were checked out by Ken, the store manager, and unfortunately received very poor customer service. From the start, he appeared visibly annoyed to be helping customers. We simply asked why an item was priced lower at another location. His response was a rude, “I can’t control what other stores do.” When I mentioned that, as a franchise, I would expect pricing to be consistent, he replied, “Yeah, they probably did it wrong.” The small price difference wasn’t the issue, it was his attitude and overall demeanor that made the experience so unpleasant. We drove out of our way to visit this store, only to be treated poorly. The fact that he is the store manager makes it even more disappointing and raises concerns about the kind of leadership in place. Hopefully it was just an off day, but in case it wasn’t, I’m leaving this review in hopes that it leads to some coaching and reflection

  Not impressed Hobby Lobby. One of your employees was very unfriendly. Stared at us as we approached register, did not smile and actually looked angry. For what? For purchasing product? Turns out she’s a manager Anna. I’m very surprised. There are plenty of other locations and even Michael’s that will appreciate my business.

  I haven't shopped at Hobby Lobby since moving from Gilbert. Today I stopped by on my way home for ribbon. It took me 20 minutes to get checked out. 2 cashiers were open not a lot of people but then it started to get backed up. I counted 5 employees working/visiting around the cash lanes while the lines just kept growing. The employees couldn't have cared less. They all just kept chatting. The one manning the register I was in line for took her break, and walked off with another employee leaving the register with another employee who was one of the ones chatting. She finally got me checked out. The women's bathroom was filthy. Poopy wipes on the floor trash on the floor and appliances foul. I am not a fan of the chain and today's visit reassured me to keep supporting small businesses with quality employees and clean facilities. I'm done with Hobby Lobby for good.
