You're rate triples during that time because somehow inflation and "market adjustments" justify continually increasing the rate (from $200 to $600.) So you might think that handling over literally $30,000 in that time to them (and we're all stupid for doing it) would net you some kind of mercy -- or maybe an just email to alert you to the actual auction date? They do not care about you. They won't say, "Hmm, this customer has been pretty good for us." It all boils down to milking every dollar as fast as possible. Add in 20% late fees and then lien fees and you're at $800 once you get behind. How are you going to catch up when you can't even get a 3% raise every year? They will not care when your entire life is tossed into a garbage bin. They do not have a shred of ethics in their souls. Do not take the chance.
