    Buyer beware. We spent over $6,000 on furniture and expected a professional experience. We did not get one. The delivery team (Harley and Charlie) were abrupt, argumentative, and rude from the start. They brought the wrong fire pit table, which seemed to set one of them off. He became visibly agitated and used vulgar language. None of this was our fault, and frankly, the behavior was unacceptable regardless of the circumstances. I was working from my home office during the delivery, and my girlfriend was the one primarily interacting with the team. I noticed a distinct difference in how they conducted themselves when I was present versus when I was not. That pattern was not lost on me. A customer should not have to wonder whether the delivery crew is behaving differently based on who is standing in the room. Beyond the attitude, several pieces were damaged. One chair was left with visible dirty handprints. An end table appeared to have been touched up with paint before delivery, which raises real questions about whether we received new furniture. When the damage was pointed out, we were told damage is basically expected. That is not an acceptable response to a $6,000 purchase. The damaged items have since been picked up and a replacement delivery has been scheduled. I hope AFW takes this seriously and not just as a logistics issue to close out. The professionalism of the delivery team reflects directly on the brand, and this team did not represent it well.

    Purchased bookcase in mid January, sales associate let us know delivery would be end of February. Called end of February, was told it would be at their store March 7th. Called again March 7th, was told it would be here any day and to call if we hadn’t heard from them in a few days. Contacted store March 10th and is again delayed until end of May. Was told a different story and timeline with each call. Customer service blamed the situation on everything on world events even events that hadn’t happened in January or February. Not sure why store would be allowed to showcase furniture when there is no correct estimated delivery date if ever …….do not shop store if you are looking forward to adding furniture to your home in a specific timeline …you will be disappointed

    My experience at American Furniture Warehouse exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and allowed to browse without any pressure. Dominic was available when we needed help, guiding my wife and me through our furniture selections. He was knowledgeable and supportive without being pushy. Once we made our choices, the checkout and delivery setup were quick and easy. The furniture arrived on the scheduled date, with clear communication about the delivery time. The delivery team did an outstanding job carrying the pieces up three flights of stairs and assembling everything efficiently. I’m thoroughly impressed with American Furniture Warehouse and would highly recommend them.

    Loved this place!! We recently visited for the first time last weekend. We had ordered a couch from a different furniture store but after waiting 5 weeks for it to come it, it came in damaged and they wanted us to wait an extra week for replacement pieces. We said no, cancelled our order and headed out to buy a couch from anywhere that had one in stock. We ended up coming to American Furniture Warehouse and we found the couch we were looking for and it was in stock! First off, the store is absolutely beautiful. The lighting really illuminates the furniture and allows you to see every feature. The couch ended up being the same price as the other one we had ordered plus we were able to get the ottoman as well. We were helped out by Kyle Milne. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. He made sure that the configuration we wanted was correct, that the pieces were in stock, and checked us out very swiftly. He even told us about the company rentals that they offered for customers to pickup. We were so desperate for a couch, and he really helped us out so much. It was an incredible experience and it wasn’t dragged on & on & on like some other places try to do. He moved swiftly and with ease to help us purchase our furniture that we wanted and help us get it in our home next day. Using the company’s box truck also was so easy! We arrived at the store the next morning to pick it up and their team loaded it into the box truck, texted us when it was ready, gave us the keys and we were on our way. They also allow you to put the boxes/plastic wrap back into the furniture for the company to dispose of & recycle. It was an extremely affordable option as well. Amazing person to work with! Highly recommend the store & recommend Kyle Milne.

    Edit4: within 24 hours they changed their mind and offered a full refund. Looks like they kept the $100 for the platinum delivery which is hilarious because if they had a better delivery team this wouldn’t have been an issue at all. Good riddance. Thanks for nothing. 6 visits by your employees to my house in a couple of weeks. I hope you don’t do the same to your other customers. Some care and kindness goes a long way. Except for Carolyn the first rep I spoke to no one else were close to that. Edit3: They replaced the pieces today but the drivers run out and I check the recliner and it doesn’t work. I chase them, they come back and fix it. The center console they replaced now is crooked and wobbly. Now the guys say they sent pics to the support team and they will call me. They call me and now they are saying I need to send pics again and they will have to replace it again. This will be 6th time someone from AFW will be in my house. I say I am done with this and ask them to just give me my money back and they are asking for a 15% fee. All of this, their mistake but their customer has to bear the price of their poor products and delivery personnel inefficiency. People reading this, check my other reviews. I rate 5 stars on 95% or more things and unless I really feel it’s worth the one star, I don’t give it. Let this be a warning to anyone going to things awful furniture store. Edit2: your response doesn’t make sense. My first exchange had dog hair on it. No one said anything. How did it become a problem on the second exchange all of a sudden? If you care about your customer you would take precautions by wrapping the couch in something. The expectation for your customers to clean up a couch broken by your delivery guys is super lazy. Answer as to why you expect that and also why your delivery guys fail to not break the couch on multiple delivery attempts. If you really care about your customer and my rating, I expect a call with an apology and the couch replaced without these terms and conditions without breaking it again. If not I’ll clean the couch return it to you but this review will remain here for others to see how bad your service is. Edit: absolute worst experience. I emailed them 2 mins after the delivery guy runs away in a hurry since I tried sitting on it and it was making a weird noise. I then looked under to see delivery guys broke the second one as well along with ripping the center console. Now they send a guy to review the “sound” and the rip and he says the delivery people damaged it and he is approving a new replacement. This replacement suddenly has a dog hair clause. I cleaned it anyway as much as I could but the delivery guy comes third time, and is now showing me the 10 dog hairs that were left on it after the time i cleaned it and when they came and left without processing my return. I can’t understand how I need to be a cleaner for this company when they broke the couch 2 times during install. I don’t understand how I should be held responsible for the cleanliness of the couch if all I am asking them is to install the couch properly and not damage it on every try. ———- One my recliners randomly started creaking and when I looked below the frame was broken. I was worried from other reviews that AFW will not give me the warranty and was nervous since it’s a brand new couch that I bought. Carolyn from their claim department was super nice and processed the request promptly.
