  “I’ve been to so many Hobby Lobby locations, and Katy Reyes was by far the best! She went above and beyond to help me and my mother find everything we needed. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. Truly outstanding customer service!”( Chandler location)

  To start, my family and I have been loyal customers for years and never had anything negative to say until recently. As being owners of small businesses places like this and similar franchises are our bread and butter so it breaks our heart to hear that one of our own was being harassed and followed by Assistant Manager Michelle, Manager Danny, and employees Scott and Ronny. Their reasonings; because we were moving around too fast and therefore created suspicion. Having worked retail before, we understand Asset Protection is pivotal to ensuring products don't get stolen and prices stay low but at no point should your ego be above offering a simple apology. No discounts, no preferential treatment, just "our mistake, we apologize". I'd sign off by saying do better but seeing that someone else on Yelp has had a similar experience around a year ago, that bar may be too high.

  I visited Hobby Lobby this morning and picked up three identical wall-mounted hooks. One of them was clearly marked $7.49, so I assumed they were all priced the same. At checkout, I was told they were actually $14.99 each. When I showed the item with the $7.49 tag, the employee removed the tag in front of me and stated that “someone must have switched it,” which felt dismissive and uncomfortable. The store refused to honor the displayed price. What concerned me more was the inconsistency. I later visited another location and found the exact same item priced at $29.99. That’s three different prices for the same product. I did mention this to a manager where it was dismissed as tariffs. Tariffs is fine but pick a lane. Which price? Also, the response I was getting consistently was “someone changed the price, someone switched the price.”Come on now, who walks around with a tagging gun? And if the someone implies it is an employee then it’s better to be accountable and say so. Consumers be careful and check EVERY item you have. Their response was they change prices and sales consistently but this is not the same as a sale. I have contacted the attorney general. I understand mistakes happen, but clear and consistent pricing matters. This experience left me questioning the accuracy of pricing and the way concerns are handled.

  I had a very uncomfortable experience at this Hobby Lobby location. During my entire time in the store, an employee named Michelle appeared to follow me through multiple aisles. At first I assumed they were just restocking shelves and that we happened to cross paths several times. However, when I got to the register, it became clear that my behavior had been under scrutiny during my visit. I was told that my behavior looked “suspicious” because I was walking quickly around the store. The reality is that the shopping cart I grabbed had a very loud squeaky wheel, and walking faster was the only way to stop the noise. Being followed around a store and then having your normal shopping behavior labeled as suspicious is extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing, especially when you’ve done nothing wrong. I understand that stores need to monitor for theft, but customers should still be treated with respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel singled out and humiliated while simply trying to shop.
